An interesting detail (and a bit sad) from Jakeš regarding Rally Bohemia. On SS Cetno his S2000 spent 1 minute 28 seconds in rpm limiter. On one stage!
Laurent Pellier will start on Rally Pačejov as a preparation for Barum.
Jan Dohnal continues. He is entered to Rally Pačejov with Ford Fiesta (not yet clear if R5 or WRC). Also Tomáš Enge is entered (with Škoda 130LR which means a lot of fun for everyone). Another surprise is Josef Peták with Focus WRC.
Entry list for Rally Pačejov, next round of Rallysprint series: http://prihlasky.rallypacejov.cz/
4 WRC (Dohnal - Fiesta, Trněný - Fabia, Peták - Focus, Jírovec - Corolla)
8 R5 (Pellier, Vlček, Tarabus, Odložilík, Rujbr, Štochl, Růžička, Pokorný)
1 S2000 (Tomek)

Something very special from Rally Bohemia: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJ9doJpYSvQ
This is original museum car Škoda 200RS (3 pieces were built in 1973-1974). The car had enlarged bore of the most famous Škoda aluminium engine block (used for some 50 years since Škoda 1000MB from 1964 till Fabia II 1.4MPI). One or two cars had 1.8 litre, the other even 2.0 litres volume (the small aluminium engine with only 3 cranckshaft bearings could survive that!). The output was very good for it's time - 163HP and 206 Nm for 2.0 and 154 Hp and 179 Nm for 1.8. The top speed was huge 210 km/h. Unfortunately the car wasn't that successful as expected (Hubáček with Alpine 110 managed to beat the works Škoda team) and it was replaced by the famous lighter, more sophisticated and faster 130RS.

Unfortunately Laurent Pellier isn't able to start in Pačejov due to his accident in Rome :(
On photos of Dohnal's test with the Fiesta I saw, that the car has czech reg. plates. Has he bought the car?
If yes, what are his plans to do with the car, as he can't drive the Czech Championship with it.
I dont think he buys this car.Its owned by Slovakia rally team Melico Racing which bought this Fiesta from Prokop ( Jipocar )
So reason from Czech plate is probably they kept them from previous owner.
In video on Ewrc is Dohnal talking about this start with Fiesta WRC is one takeoff to keep the deal with sponsors, about plans for future is nothing decided yet
Live results from Rally Pačejov tomorrow here: https://rally-base.com/2018/invelt-r...8/?ssGroupId=1
Rally Pačejov was very nice (and hot) as usual. The most spectator friendly rally in CZ - the road sections between stages are around 5-10 km long, taping is very friendly for spectators, stages are spectacular and the beer tents are on every crowded place.
The rally was won by Jan Dohnal who started with Melichárek's Fiesta WRC. Odložilík finished second separated only by 0,6 seconds from Tarabus who tried big attack at the last short but difficult half-gravel stage and nearly succeeded. Anyway for me the man (or in this case boy) of the rally was Petr Semerád. The 17-years old boy won 2WD easily and showed again that there is a lot to expect from him in the future. The second guy Kornhefr (26 years old) showed also very good speed with the old C2 R2 (Kornhefr moved from amateur events only last year and this is his first season with relatively fast car).
There was only one major retirement. Kopáček and his co-driver Rendlová tried to get back in the car after the crash in Hustopeče (this time with gr.N Subaru) but they retired early because they were still not fit enough. I really hope they can get well before Barum.
1. Dohnal (Fiesta WRC) 40:31,5
2. Odložilík (Fiesta R5) +19,5
3. Tarabus (Fabia R5) +20,1
4. Vlček (Fiesta R5) +39,3
5. Trněný (Fabia WRC) +1:22,9
6. Rujbr (Fabia R5) +1:29,5
7. Štochl (Fabia R5) +1:38,8
8. Peták (Focus WRC) +3:00,7
9. Růžička (Fiesta R5) +3:24,2
10. Šikl (Evo IX gr.N) +3:27,5
2WD
1. P. Semerád (Adam R2) 45:03,5
2. Kornhefr (C2 R2) +25,0
3. Horák (Adam R2) +30,3
The best stage of Pačejov (and maybe of the whole rallysprint season) with Petr Semerád

Very nice video from Rally Pačejov: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8lcgJqgbLk
The penultimate round of the Rallysprint championship took place today. The reborn Rally Jeseníky with beautiful mountain stages. Unfortunately not very strong competition entered the event. There was nevertheless a great battle between Odložilík and Vlček which was decided only on the last stage. Trněný lost most of the time with a clutch issue but nevertheless the leading duo was faster. Kurka while not the best driver around finally again brough his Mini WRC on stages. Nowadays it's really rare car and a nice addition to see. Among 2WD this time someone managed to beat the young Petr Semerád (who was ill today) - it was Michal Horák who took the victory by 8,5 seconds.
1. Odložilík (Fiesta R5) 39:29,4
2. Vlček (Fiesta R5) +6,9
3. Trněný (Fabia WRC) +1:17,3
4. Rujbr (Fabia R5) +1:45,1
5. Kurka (Mini WRC) +1:45,8
6. Pátl (Fiesta R5) +3:12,3
7. Šimek (Evo IX gr.N) +3:38,5
8. Hanák (Fiesta R5) +3:44,9
9. Horák (Adam R2) +3:48,8
10. Semerád P. (Adam R2) +3:57,3
Nice video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQ6aclggWXo
17-years old Petr Semerád is now officially the overall winner of the 2018 Rallysprint Series (4WD cars don't count). He will be 18 only in May next year. His team is not doing any secrets about its aim to get him into WRC events as soon as possible.
Quite strange situation in Czech championship before the last event - Rally Příbram. Filip Mareš will not start in the last event despite him having a good chance to finish the season on second place. Instead he will start in ERC Latvia (good decision IMO). The fight for the overall second place is therefore set to be between Černý and Pech. For Černý it's his home rally. Kopecký will not start (as expected).
Entry list for Rally Příbram, last round of Czech Championship: http://www.autosport.cz/zavody/soubor.php?f=20919
You can notice that Dohnal is there with Focus. Honestly I don't know how is that possible because normally with our rules he can't use his second car. Maybe he got some exception.
No. Just same surname. But he is son of Pavel Dohnal (https://www.ewrc-results.com/profile/3629-pavel-dohnal/) who used to compete with Evo IX in lower czech championships.
Results of Rally Příbram, last event of Czech Championship will be online tomorrow since 8 o'clock a.m.: https://rally-base.com/2018/svk-rally-pribram-2018/
Pech won Rally Příbram after a big fight with Černý and Dohnal. Pech finished the season as second finally. Černý was leading after day one but retired with broken wheel today. Jakeš who was the early leader and who won three stages lost 4,5 minutes with a puncture on the penultimate stage. in 2WD Cais was completely dominating leading by 33 seconds after 7 stages but he retired after hitting a wall in the first stage of the second leg. In the end René Dohnal won.
1. Pech (Fiesta R5) 1:14:23,5
2. Dohnal (Focus WRC) +4,7 (10 sec penalty)
3. Štajf (Fabia R5) +1:16,5
4. Vlček (Fiesta R5) +2:10,2
5. Trojan (Fabia R5) +2:16,8
6. Pospíšilík (Fabia R5) +2:21,5
7. Březík (Fabia R5) +2:24,7 (15 sec penalty)
8. Trněný (Fabia WRC) +3:16,1
9. Štochl (Fabia R5) +3:28,1
10. Rujbr (Fabia R5) +4:02,0 (10 sec penalty)
Some important retirements: Černý (Fiesta R5 - broken wheel), Cais (208 R2 - broken radiator), Tlusťák (Fiesta R5 - double puncture), Šikl (Evo IX - crash), Barčák (Adam R2 - technical issue)
Stage victories: Dohnal 5, Pech 4, Jakeš 3, Černý 1 (one SS was canceled)
An interesting fact. It's been exactly four year since Pech's last championship victory! He didn't win a single rally since Příbram 2014 (Příbram 2015, 2016, 2017 were won by Dohnal and all the rest by Kopecký).
Great onboard of Jakeš from SS10 (watch at least 3:55-4:05): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21u_QMbXjkU
At 4:36 notice the anti-cutting concrete fallen on the road. This one was hit by Černý who retired because of that.

Live results of Rally Vsetín, last round of the Rallysprint Series will be online tomorrow since 8 a.m.: https://rally-base.com/2018/partr-rally-vsetin-2018/
Final results of Rally Vsetín are quite strange. Vlček or Odložilík were much slower than expected, others like Pospíšilík were faster than expected (first podium ever for him). Trněný had technical issues. Odložilík despite just cruising today is the absolute winner of the season. Only in 2WD nothing changed and Petr Semerád totally crushed everyone and confirmed his dominance through the season.
1. Grzyb (Fabia R5) 38:34,8
2. Melichárek (Fiesta WRC) +13,9
3. Pospíšilík (Fabia R5) +37,8
4. Březík (Fabia R5) +43,7
5. Vlček (Fiesta R5) +1:02,8
6. Rujbr (Fabia R5) +1:20,7
7. Odložilík (Fiesta R5) +1:31,1
8. Trněný (Fabia WRC) +1:38,3
9. Štochl (Fabia R5) +2:24,1 (30 sec pen.)
10. Pešl (Evo IX gr.N) +2:34,1
2WD
1. Semerád P. (Adam R2) 41:58,
2. Horák (Adam R2) +1:04,5
3. Svačina (208 R2) +1:15,0
Maybe another interesting names rise...
Dominik Stříteský. He is 18 years old, did only four rallies so far and already won two events of Adam Cup. Today he was 8th overall in 2WD with only the cup car among much stronger cars.
Tomáš Uher, 21 years old, just 8 rallies (3 of them amateur ones), he was 5th in 2WD with a diesel Fabia RS in all last three rallypsrint events.
Nice video from Rally Vsetín: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mt-hxFc07yE
Small explanation of the first joke... there was actually a bear walking on stages during the recce :)
Popular Prague Rallysprint (1st December) shall have basically same route as last year. That means at the beginning two short classic stages south of the city and than four circuit stages around Strahov stadium held in both directions.

Petr Semerád will drive Fabia R5 in Setkání Mistrů Sosnová 10-11th November! He will be 18 only in May 2019.
The car will have absolutely awesome livery! And if the huge Škoda logo on the roof means something than it's very good news.

Wow! This livery is awesome indeed! And good luck to this young driver!

Another nice surprise is Fabia R5 for Jan Talaš. He is this years 2WD MČR champion. Paolo Diana and Tomáš Enge with 2WD historic cars are also nice addition. It's just a show but I think I'll go.
I know that it's not important at all but it's at least interesting... The two who got into the final in Sosnová show were not Pech, Grzyb or Černý but Mareš and Semerád who in his 17 years sat in the R5 for the very first time. In the end Mareš was slightly faster.
Video from Sosnová: https://youtu.be/9BNfSqXvhBU
Alex Lukyanuk (Fiesta R5) will start in Prague Rallysprint! Other confirmed foreign drivers are Koči (Fabia R5), Gryzb (Fabia R5), Melichárek (Fiesta WRC), Béreš jr. (Evo IX gr.N), Drotár (Fabia R5), Lapdavský (Impreza STi gr.N) or Konečný (Impreza STi gr.N).
We can aslo expect some new cars as pre-announcement for our next season. Some Hyundai and VW R5 with Czech drivers ;)
Martin Vlcek will not start in Prague with Hyundai, I think he will use his usual Fiesta R5 there...
