Well, VW winning the WRC would give them a new success to use in promotion. They haven't had that since the Quattro days. And, given that it's all about the promotion, what's the point of pulling out quickly even if you do win? There's not much to gain in terms of advertising from that.Quote:

It was great to see Volkswagen to join the game, but if someone has enormous budget and hightech technology I doubt that there will be any more new Manufacturers coming to the WRC, before the situation has once again changed...
