I'm surprised these things hasn't come up in testing given Abbrings violent driving style. He also tested the troublesome 208 so one would expect him to have learnt a few lessons there.
They were not the only ones this last weekend. Claudio De Cecco also retired with I20 from Friulmotor in Rally Poreč. I don't know why though.

PSA cars have new engine mappings for Evo kits, and there you can choose boost levels by simple rotary switch. Base spec had different engine maps with different boost levels.
Hyundai problems are little more complicated - some are suppliers fault, some bad luck and some I think simply because of quite short testing phase.
But if someone thinks those are because of test driver then it means he knows absolutely nothing about developement of the car.

Well I have never developed a rally car in my life, so absolutely, I have no idea what the process is. I just thought it was an interesting correlation that two initially troublesome cars both were developed by the same driver. What are you guys talking about? De Cecco was driving Pug 208 in Condroz and the reason he retired was an off, had nothing to do with rain or slippery roads. Dilley and Duval were driving Hyundai's and they both retired with sump gard pierced.

As far, as I know, lithuanian rally committe talking with swedish Mitsubishi Mirage R5 team. 2017 lithuanian rally regulations project allows car like this compete in Lithuania Rally Championship. So maybe maybe we will see Mirage R5 it in Lithuania.
By the way, this year Lithuania rally championship was won by latvian J.Vorobjovs with his privately built Mitsubishi Mirage with Evo's parts.
And question to guys from Poland. Could you enlight me about Ford Fiesta Proto? I know that's Fiesta with Evo's parts and I saw it only in Poland. How this project happend?

Mirage of Vorobjovs is exactly similar like Proto you asked in second paragraph. It's coming from Poland. They can build different bodies - Mirage, Fiesta, Polo, 208, Hyundai, Citroen, etc.
At least one Hyundai R5 in FRC next year. They have an option for a second car. Driver still a secret.
