Looks like it might be raining most of the rally though.
Curious if Loeb will have the new front aero (for first time on tarmac).

So Loeb is running old aero (on SD vid) , strange tbh. Getting it on all 3 cars in Finland is prbly priority.
The entry list for the ''Rally del Friuli Venezia Giulia'', better known as Alpi Orinetali:

I'm hoping for the first win of new Fiesta R5 MK2....
Campedelli won the 1st stage
http://rally.ficr.it/default.asp?p=Y...0xpbmd1YT1JVEE
Campedelli won stage 3,but Rossetti took big difference at ss 4 and now have the same overall time.
Campedelli wins stage 5 and leads the rally. Rossetti is 0.5 s behind him. 6 stages to go on Saturday:
http://rally.ficr.it/default.asp?p=Y...TGluZ3VhPUlUQQ
Rossetti won morning 2 stages and now with 4,2 sec difference
http://rally.ficr.it/default.asp?p=Y...0xpbmd1YT1JVEE
Nothing is decided yet, small margin between Rossetti and Cempedelli. And how about stage times of Zannier, with antique Clio Williams A7?? Faster than modern FWD....
Bad luck for Cempedelli-two flat tyres in one stage. Lost over 8 min. Game over for him, probabbly also lost the battle for championship...shame. One stage to the end....I'm going back in the warm Adriatic sea...
Once no one mentioned Rossetti first win with the C3 in Italy, here’s a picture of it, alongside deserved congrats to him, Mori and FPF Sport (the former PS Italy team)!

Congratulations to Luca and Eleneora!!
Basso still leads the championship. Two rallies to go:

Last round of Italian championship round (C.I.R) is ahead of us-Tuscan Rewind (gravel). As the event has a coeficient 1,5, many scenarios are possible.
Entry list: https://www.tuscanrewind.com/wp-cont...can-rewind.pdf
Nice to se Paolo Andreucci and Renato Travaglia back! Special guest: Tony Carioli (multiple MXGP champion)
So, here are some scenarios for the champion crown:
- Basso: if he wins, he is the champion. He will be a champion even on the 2nd place, but Cempedelli must not win.
- Cempedelli : if he wins, he is the champion. Even if he is at the end on the 2nd place, he will be a champ, but Basso and Crungola must not win.
- Crungola: he must win and Basso must not be at the on the 2nd place-in this case he is the champion!
- Rossetti: if he wants to open a champaigne, he must win, but Cempedelli and Basso must be on 3rd position (or lower..)
So, an intensive weekend in front of us!
After leading Cempedelli lost the lead due to flat front left tyre....bye bye the championship crown. Shame....there is a curse over Fiesta R5 MK2...
last stage is the long 27km long, top 4 crews inside 10 seconds,so everything is open, amazing finale.

What happened to Tommaso Ciuffi the official Peugeot driver in 2WD class ??? :(

Now top 3 crews inside 3,7 seconds!!

In the end the gods helped Basso a little bit because a rain came when Basso was already near the stage end. Basso wins both the rally and the C.I.R. title!
Puncture for Rossetti in the last stage. Campedelli seems to be missing but rallylink.it is totally overloaded and I can't make it load...
Cempedelli off the road.....what a disastrous end of season 4him...
What a drama on that last stage! Congrats to Basso, co-driver Granai and Metior Sport team.
Yeah! Congratulations to Basso! Another title for him! How many does he have already?!
Good rally for so many veteran drivers - Andreucci, Travaglia and Papadimitriou were in the 3rd, 4th and 5th positions, respectively. A great result after such a long break, especially for Travaglia and Papadimitriou! Huge respect for them!

Nails of Montalcino: please silence
in Editorials, Rubrics / by Gianni Cogni
The news of the statement presented by Simone Campedelli before and then by Luca Rossetti regarding Montalcino nails, with the delivery of the incriminated tires, inevitably generated discussions, even with misplaced interpretations. Basso and Granai won and they did it in the clearest and most deserved way (they made more points and won more races than everyone) and there are no complaints against the winner or against the verdict.
The Campedelli and Rossetti teams have chosen to point out the incident by delivering (it had already happened with less clamor to the Two Valleys) to the technical commissioners as it leads to the suspicion of sabotage (aka drilling caused by nails intentionally positioned by unknown persons).
Thus asking ACI Sport for any evaluation of the incident in the approval of the Tuscan Rewind result, an act that takes place for all rallies to endorse the regularity of the performance after the examination of the dossier. The precedent of San Martino di Castrozza 2012 is a rarity, perhaps even a unicum, but it exists.
No one has pointed a finger at anyone in particular, neither explicitly nor undercurrents. But the objective fact remains that this story of sabotage and in particular of nails (but there are also brake hoses cut in Guglielmini) is becoming a sort of haunting refrain that only damages everything and everyone, above all the same specialty.
This is the problem, not the fantastic victory of Basso in a season where he has had to beat not only his opponents but also the difficulties that have gradually developed and of which the change of the racing team was just one example.

Hmm, how many times has this repeated in the past ten years or so?

@SimoCampedelli fought 💪 for the @CIRally championship 🏆 to the end of @tuscanrewind, but it was not to be 😔. It’s been a great season and a big thanks to the @msportpoland team, @Orange1Racing, @pirellisport and Simone. We’ll be back 👊.

Monza Rally Show is taking place this weekend. This year big change-WRC cars are not allowed anymore (the results are not counted in the final ranking), therefore just few of pre-2017 gen 1.6l WRC cars on the entry list. The star of every year edition (and multiple winner) Valentino Rossi also missing...

among other things at 4:52 it could have ended as quite massive crash if Beretta touched the green wall on the right.
fun to watch, but not exactly "rally" stage.
