Again a steering failure for Polo.
big fight at last stage of Ciocco
Breen is 1,4 sec from Basso and podium.and Campedelli is 5,6 sec from leader Basso.
stage is 19,80km so everything is open.
Basso wins ahead of Campedelli, Rossetti and Breen.
Good effort from Breen against the locals in a new car and a new event.
Would you like to see Breen's driving from a different angle?

This may already have been covered here and I missed it, but where is Ucci-Ussi?
No planned starts for them in 19 as far as I can see.
Edit; nvm, saw it now. Dunno how I missed that info.
Campedelli again leader after 8 stages
day 1

Campedelli leads Breen by 11s with one 34km stage to go.
Βreen managed to get 15,3 sec from Campedelli and took the win for 4,3 sec.
Yes, what an effort by Breen in the last stage!
Great battle anyway. I'm quite surprised that this time Crugnola was rather off the pace compared to Ciocco.
Final results:
1. Breen (Fabia R5) 1:40:42,3
2. Campedelli (Fiesta R5) +4,3
3. Basso (Fabia R5) +32,9
4. Rossetti (C3 R5) +1:00,0
5. Crugnola (Polo R5) 1:17,9
6. Franceschi (Fabia R5) +2:53,1
7. Michelini (Fabia R5) +4:07,4
8. Habaj (Fabia R5) +4:40,0
9. Rusce (Polo R5) +5:15,5
10. Scattolon (Fabia R5) +5:48,5
Never in doubt... ;)
Well done Craig and Paul!
I’m a bit out of the loop.. what happened with Umberto Scandola? Are Skoda Italy supporting Breen instead (I noticed he has Skoda logos on the overalls and car)

Have a look at the presentation of sporting activities of Peugeot Sport Italia in 2019. Who is it? ;)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CrvrHhH64Q
Paolo is Peugeot sport ambassador, instead of Anna Andreussi his copilot is going to be Rudy Briani.
And if facebook is trustworthy, Andrea Crungola will be behind the steering wheel of Škoda Fabia (no Polo this time...)".

First three stages of Targa Florio (CIR) were finished, in the lead Luca Rossetti. Second place in the hands of Simone Cempedelli.
Tomorrow the event starts early in the morning, looking forward to it....
after 7 stages Rosseti still leads Cambedelli with 7,2 sec

Rossetti lost the lead to Cambedelli after engine turned off midstage
Trails with 15,8 sec now
Fearsome battle for the 2nd position between Rossetti and Crugnola! Just 0,5 sec is separating those two drivers-and one stage to the finish line.
Rossetti wins the last stage, but it is Simone Campedelli and his orange Ford Fiesta R5 who wins the 103rd edition of Rally Targa Florio. Congratulations!!!
Rossetti finishes in the second position, 11 seconds behind Campedelli. Crugnola (Polo R5) is third and Basso only 4th.

Huge congrats to Simone & Tania from my side!! After 23 years since last Ford victory on Targa Florio (Cunico with Escort Cosworth) Cempedlli managed to bring victory to Ford! But, Rossetti was very fast those two days and this is even better forecast for next events.
Basso seemed a bit lost on Sicilian tarmac, but I do not doubt that he will push again for the victory already on next event.
Nice battle also in R2 class between new generation (Panzani with new Fiesta) and ''writting off generation'' (Ciuffi with P208); this time Ciuffi was faster.
M-Sport:
Looking back to Europe, a massive congrats to @SimoCampedelli and Tania Canton on their victory @TargaFlorioOff. The result puts the Ford Fiesta R5 crew into the lead of the Italian Championship, and it's the first time the Blue Oval has won the event in more than 20 years! :champion:
