Very interesting to note that Andreas Mikkelsen has been faster than Marcus Grønholm on six of the nine stages. Andreas has however noted "irregular" times on SS3 and 6, and therefore Grønholm ends up 38,2 seconds ahead of him after nearly 140 km of stages....

More info: 10 kms with punctured tyre for Andreas on SS6. Should have beaten Grønholm without this problem. Not too bad... ;)

I knew Marcus was in a Cup car, but was just letting those who wondered about the results know! Very impressive by Andreas - quicker than Marcus isn't easily done.

Great job by Mikkelsen. I wonder why they withdrew financial support just before the moment when he started to gather some serious speed. It would have been much more smart to learn driving with Subaru sti and then upgrade the car to wrc-level. Now they stopped just before the harvest time.

Mikkelsen certainly is not only example of this kind of irrational and unrealistic driver management. Though I don't know if it's finacial crise.

Mikkelsen should definitely drive the C4 or Focus in Sweden. He could throw serious challlenge on Latvala at the moment.

I agree, but remember MG hasnt driven any since Greece last year and Mikkelsen has been warming up all winter long. Also Sandell is kind of rusty behind the wheel.

You are speculating wildly, but no offense, you really haven`t got a clue.

Btw. Petter Solberg won all stages, as he should. SS2/5/8 was an old classic from Finnskog Rally. Petters best time was 4.03,6. Stage record belongs to - surprise, Andreas Mikkelsen - and it`s 3.55,5 (set in 2008).
