History been made.. 4-3 to Flyers after game seven! Who thought that would happen after first three games? I didn't!
Proof positive that the best people in the business can be wrong. Just like how the Flyers found their way back from 3 games in the hole, to be the only team since the 75 Islanders and the 42 Leaf's to come back from an 0-3 deficit.Quote:

In the other conference, the Hawks just keep rolling.....2-1 over the Sharks. It will be the better series, and the likely Cup winner will be the winner of it.
Somewhere bak ion here I believe someone thought this would be an outcome of good expectations. OH Thats right it was me.
Philly at Chicago. Now this one should be very interesting.Good luck to all and itys been cool. :s mokin:
Interesting...Hawks in 6.....WHY? More youth, more balance, and a better team most of the year...I think teams that turn it on in the playoffs usually run out of shelf life when meeting a superior opposition....and the team that is better all year would in most cases be that. That said, hard to bet against a team with Chris Pronger on it..but I think Chicago just has a better defense and better quality forwards with fresher legs.
Plus better goalie...Quote:

I see this as a wash in goal actually. I would like to think Niemi is more steady, since I never heard of Leighton until this post season, but the point is, this series is going to to one or lost on how the defense can stop the other team's offense. I don't see Philly's forwards as more talented, and I see Chicago's D to be on the whole stronger, but Pronger is the wildcard.....Quote:

Plus they have drive losing out last year to a lowly Det team.
Regaurdless I look for action both ways and IF the refs call a good game [ on both sides of the puck] Then I feel like it'll be old time hockey again.Just a note though games 3-4 are on versus not nbc.no commercials during the playing time in the finals is that still in effect?and what about that glow puck did they do away with that?
Blackhawks against San Jose... two games where Niemi reached over 40 saves. I call that last line of defence ;)Quote:
