Yeh, f.ex. in 2007 Rally Portugal Toni Gardemeister was excluded after SS4 and he appears in results before exclusion:

2007 Portugal SS1
2007 Portugal SS2
2007 Portugal SS3
2007 Portugal SS4
2007 Portugal SS5

search for Burns exclusion when he was with peugeot i think it was argentina 2002

If I remember correctly, Argentina Juan Pablo Raies in a Ford Focus from Munchi's Team was disqualified from a Rally Finland (not sure about that) because he was without one the gloves, after he lost it when changing a tyre.
