Does anyone know if Paul Bird's new Focus WRC is indeed a brand new car or is it a rebuild of a former works car?
If it is a rebuild I would be very grateful if anyone can tell me the original reg-plate of his "3 MX"

Thanks to good people from this forum I have found out that 3 MX is actually EA07 PXN.

I read in some post on this forum and news there is a Focus WRC 09. Is there new homologation for Focus in 2009? Since when?

EU55 BMY sold from Merksteijn Motorsport by Luca Pedersoli.
It is the car who was driven by Bernard ten Brinke, Dutch Rally Champion 2009

By the way: The car is upgrade to Focus WRC 08

WRC rules do not allow stobart to run 09 spec cars. They are required to run the previous years spec. Which as development is banned means they will be using 08 spec cars AFAIK.

Also. Anyone know why the cars are re-registered for rally finland?

I believe it is an insurance issue. But it is very VERY annoying for people who try to keep track. I'm not sure they have to do it for non-Finnish drivers (they didn't used to) but now it's every car.

Yeah it seems unnecessary to me to do it but there must be some logic. It used to be that you had the Peugeot team where Marcus and Rovanpera would have these temporary plates but Burns would not.

Can anyone help with information on the Weavers cars who is driving for them in 2010 also who ran the kuipers focus's in 2009.

Aldo any photos of any of the weavers

Wevers' Focus are the cars of Kuipers family. You can see them in Sweden.
There is one other 'lost'. I think it was the car who Dutch Champion Ten Brinke drove in 2009 and is run by VM Motorsport (Merksteijn)Not sure yet.

Wevers himself didn't drive anymore. Some other Dutch member can help more maybe.

Ipatec racing said on their website R Kuipers drives in Sweden not a Focus but his other car: Subaru Impreza S14 WRC.

-Frustols car is an ex-Mikkelsen car.
-The car Henning drove is owned by Christian Selmer(he has taken a year rallyholiday). This car is also ex-Mikkelsen

Thanks to a friend I have now managed to find the reg-plates of Rally Finland cars from last year and also Matt Wilsons reg-plates from 2009. You can now find them on my website :)
