He is too old to this crazy and mindblowing stuff
Printable View
he has no need to push but i agree he has seemed so down beat all week long
btw. at the moment the gapp between him and Evans would be 25 points without PS points
retirement for Gryazin, 2 punctures..
Gryazin always the one with punctures.
Rovanpera off.
wtf Tänak lost over a second with jus couple kms....
Impressed by Breen, thought Tanak could've gobbled him up this morning. But Evans is on another level entirely, amazing drive (but agree that it looks like he is on the ragged edge). Good for the championship this
Evans did brilliant job, dominated the morning (Mikkelsen, take a look here what "domination" means). A bit surprised, that Evans got this Yaris flying and Rovanperä struggled.
Huyndais seems to be in the limiter entire day alrady. Hats off for Breen as well, taking in account the lack of seat time (compared to Tänak for example), he can post good stage times with equal road position as well.
I’m not sure what to think about the relative car performance between Toyota and Hyundai here, generally the Hyundai’s look the best, but then you see Evans times and he’s faster than them.
What a drive by Evans with 5 stage wins in a row (incl last night) and taking it to the two Hyundai's of Breen and Tanak. Just awesome.

Really impressed by Evans so far. Not the guy who I imagined to set a pace in Finland.
Tänak saying to Estonian media that Evans is showing what the Toyota is capable of on these roads.
Also thinks Evans was little bit hampered yesterday by the road position

Rumours @KalleRovanpera
will not restart tomorrow because of back injury? #WRCLive
Impressive morning for Breen and even more Evans. I think Hyundai’s drivers should make an all-in on this afternoon, they have nothing to lose
Ogier stays on the road, he has no better to do now; the same for Neuville and the M-Sport. A little the same for Lappi, not impressive but not bad for a comeback rally.
For Rovanpera, let’s see if he is really injured but with Spain so close, he should take no risk as he has no real challenge remaining (power stage with a bad road position and Toyota has a good margin in the manufacturer championship) here. A little disappointing as he was «*favorite*» for the win but it is part of the learning.
Really difficult second half-season for Katsuta and the next two rallyes are not favourable for him on tarmac. Not all his fault (Estonia, Greece) but disappointing because we could have waited from him to get closer from a manufacturer-entry level and even be in the discussion for the shared third car. At least, he gets an additional season in WRC in 2022 thanks to his first half.
In RC2, strong fight between Suninen, Lindholm and Ostberg in less than 10sec
nice one Ott!
I have to say some of the footage is pretty amazing, both the official and fan footage I’ve seen….it’s truly incredible to watch.
That said, I’m not surprised they are reducing the speed of the cars next year, some of the corner speeds are outrageous.
A LOT of bedrock has come out
Tänak passed Breen in overall
This is quite insane, they are driving like crazy in the forest, jumping blindly to another corner, 10min+ / 20km+ in row, and the differences are just few seconds.
Most impressive crew until now is imo Lappi/Ferm. Matching the best almost at once, after being out of the class for aprox 1 year.
Yes, I was going to say as much. It takes away from the speculation that he's so tied to Toyota at this point but of all the part-timers he's one of the most impressive for sure. Very happy to see fast EP, and not sad EP, back!

Breen losing some time early in the stage.
Tänak taking back with every stage but so little, shame he lost so much with the night stage yesterday
Breen lost 4.2s - a lot when it's all so close.
8 seconds between Evans and Tanak in RC1
8 seconds between Suninen and Ostberg in RC2
Good fights
Taking a run on Dirt Rally Finland between stages - impressed how realistically Autumnal the trees look and the damp road conditions. ;)

Thierry has lost his lights
Neuville in cruise mode, missing lightpod and wires are haning
My maps Neuville seems to turned to access road
Windscreen also looked cracked. Clearly hit something.
Neuville really damaged as now he's stopped.
