Stick 'em up motherfucker
This is a hold up
We've come for what's ours!
I know it's a bit cliched, but I'm fancying a visit to Colin's Crest. Is it simply the case of turning up and parking here https://goo.gl/maps/kVgty11Hb672 (first image) before the stage starts, or is it here https://goo.gl/maps/4ZVE8fsiHsz (second image) and then a three-hour walk?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The Rally Sweden magazine (page 16) says "slightly inaccessible location, which requires a long walk or ATV."
First option has two big parking areas, then take ATV ride to the stage, non stop running, 40-50 sek if I remember correctly. Second option is tricky, we managed to drive the road quite close last year but there is only roadside parking available and the walking distance really depends from how many cars are there parked before your arrival.
First place and its just about a 20 minutes walk from the big road to colins crest. Was there last year and had no problem finding a perfect place about 1 hour before the start of stage. There are plenty of people but because of the campingsite-like area there is much space between. I have left it out for about 7 years as I feared also the mass of people - but it was a very good decision to go there last year. Simply crazy and lots of action. Will probably do it again this year.
Looking for any spectating tips for the Vargåsen stage? Not too much of a walk from spectator car park. Spectator area 1 looks the best I would say?
Okay, that's great, thank you. I plan to drive to the car park that is closest ( link one in my original post ) for an hour before stage start and then hope to catch the ATV or walk to 20 minutes – if I understand correctly.
Looking forward to it.
If you go there from Torsby try not to drive past the stage end as it's a complete chaos down there after they shortened the stage, better to drive around north past the start i think.
Road up there is a bit narrow so seen several getting stuck in the deep ditch and much more people now than before.
Now it seems like a good amount of minus degrees all over the route. Some freezing also forecasted for wednesday-thursday night but other than that, a lot of plus degrees. I would say challenging conditions but no fear of canceling anything.

That Fiesta is "flong ny" as we say in swedish... (Brand new in swedish slang...)
Hej Micke! are there any classes for the more interesting cars? You know the ones normal (well sort of normal) ( well OK a little Abbey Normal) people car afford, like Historics or Grupp H added on? It sure was fun a few years ago when they Historics were going, fun to plug their times into the WRC times..
I'm asking for a friend...
flong ny...är det ett flong ny ordspåk? har spillans pensionerat? Eller spik ny...som motsvarade nagel neu på saksalianen? Är det sten-alder slang?
Please note, since it IS Swedish rally a little detour into Swedish when asking about Swedish rally is OK...
We return you to normal Ängleski before people start complaining..
Sorry!

The stages of @RallySweden feels wider, but still with snow banks. For the moment it's a full ice surface, which means it will be flat out and I can't wait to co-drive! The big question⚠️ How much will the forecasted warm weather change the surface? #Codriver @OfficialWRC
