some info about Humar?
Stéphane Lefebvre @SLefebvreRallye
We lost 10s in the SS5 because of a stuck handbrake in a junction, but we’re still 6th overall, it’s ok. #FIAERC #YpresRally
Stéphane Lefebvre has fought back to fifth place on the Kenotek Ypres Rally during the opening day of the FIA European Rally Championship classic.
Lefebvre lost around 20 seconds to a technical problem on the first stage of the event, leaving him 19th overall, but he set fastest times on stages two and four. He lost 11 seconds to leader Bryan Bouffier when he spun and stalled on SS5, and although he complained of having to pass two cars on SS6 – as a result of running way down the start order having missed the Qualifying Stage – he climbed into fifth above Bernd Casier.
He was then second fastest on the final stage of the day, level with Freddy Loix and 2.1 seconds behind Vincent Verschueren, who notched up his second win of the day. He finishes the day 31.8s behind the leader Bryan Bouffier, who was just a tenth slower than Loix and therefore has a 6.9s margin.

a bit off topic.
I was just wondering that this "car problem" might be a bit different. maybe they didnt had test car for other days to test for Poland and that was their car problem. Polish test was partly overlapping with Ypres recce. So, that was a "car problem?" There are 6 Fiesta WRC-s in Poland, Camilli, Ostberg, Tänak all had tests, maybe Yazeed, and Bertelli also and there were 9 Fiesta WRC-s in Italy, not long ago, so pretty intense schedule prepare all cars and maintain one testcar for at least four long days;)
What happened with Kristiansen i fabia s2000? He is 35 minutes behind, as far as i see?
yes Bertelli was testing too.

Isn't it him at this photo?

So many victims of this rally already at this early stage... Here's Diogo Gago from Portugal:

Lukyanuk from outside: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEQ2jddw3Gc
If I'm not mistaken it's quite well known place where for example Vouilloz crashed some years a go.
No. Where Vouilloz crashed some years ago was on SS Wijtschate (or back then probably named SS Mesen-Sauvegarde). This was on SS Dikkebus-Westouter (formerly part of the old SS Westouter), after the straight where he parked there's the right-left and then the well-known jump. I'm sure you were there at least once, Mirek. ;)
For me personally not a bad day. In terms of spectacle it doesn't look like the best edition. The big difference in comparison to last year is less very fast/spectacular R2 cars. Pitty for Lukyanuk, we saw him earlier on the first stage and he was clearly "on it", and on the same pace as Bouffier. Less international crews, but fortunately the Belgian field is better than ever. Especially Casier and Verschueren surprised me a bit with their pace.
Thanks Tom, I meant this place before the jump. I just thought Vouilloz crashed there in 2008. My bad.
By the way I still have a wallpaper exactly from this place on my old computer. My friend took the photo in 2009 or 2010 I think.
https://www.facebook.com/MaxiPixelRa...0256905080332/ I don't know if this has been shared yet? Spectators pulling Cherain's Fiesta out of the ditch, some proper teamwork...
Kobus had problems with their pop-off valve, after changing it in service it got worse even.
Let's see tomorrow, I expect Loix to win quite comfortably again. In quite curious about the Hyundai times, twitter rumours suggest Abbring has been fastest generally.
According to PLuto Abbring doesn't start at exact minutes and therefore hand measurements make no sense.
if there was somebody at stage start and watch when exactly he started,we could have an indicator of how fast he was.

Are those stage times of Catie Munnings even real?
Yes, Abbrings times are very good. Just one stage puncture, on two or 3 he caught 0 cars so needed to slow down. But the ones he did clear he was fastest. He drives at 85%, Hyundai is with safe mapping, ALS still not developed. Will be really good car I think.
Loix after taking the lead at the finish line of stage 8: "Another day in the office. I drove clean and for me it was a clean, quick run. The time is not that bad." :)
Bouffier strangely slow on the first stage. Didn't report any problems, just lack of pace.
Loix leads but Bouffier struggled in SS8...
Yeah, she really is off the pace. I don't understand why they are there and practicing driving of rally? Why can't they do the training at home and then do a rally? I guess there will be a huge job to be done before she will find the pace if that will ever happen. The results from small events in England are not so brilliant either.
It seems Lukyanuk restarted the rally? I see him in the 13th position on SS8.
Next stage is the hardest one which always brings a lot of dramas. Let's see what happens there this time.
First drama is here. Orsák lost 2,5 minutes.
Kristiansen crashed again on Kemmelberg and it seems that the stage is canceled.
pitty taht Lefebvre had lost so much time at 1st stage. He is pretty fast
(10 - Loix Freddy / Gitsels Johan): I'm pushing but for me it's the limit at the moment. Incredible good time from Lefebvre, it's new generation.
flash info (2 - Lefebvre Stéphane / Portier Xavier): This one was OK, I lost 1 or 2 seconds at the last hairpin. I can drive better.
i am curious to see the reliability of the fast psa twins.Lets hope to keep to the end.For sure they are pretty fast at tarmac at least.
