Looks like the """miracle""" that Ogier needed to win the rally might as well happen... but well, early to say
Ucci comments after ss7
(48 - Andreucci Paolo / Andreussi Anna): I have seen Lappi stopped on the left. This stage was not great as I had a power-steering problem early on, but in the last 3kms I had no problems. For the moment the car is OK.
Nasser after ss8
(42 - Al-Attiyah Nasser / Baumel Matthieu): We changed what we needed for the afternoon and the tyres are working. It is a difficult rally. We will try to get through all the stages.
Okay Paddon really is having the pace this weekend.
Its up to Paddon now - Ogier now to 2nd...
Been a great day for him anyway , hope he keeps the lead.
JML has blown his chance I think.
Crazy day.
I got stucked on SS5 because silly organizers didn't stop cars arriving from a very narrow street in the middle of nowhere. The result was that people could no go ahead or back and they just let their cars in the middle of the road so that my car and all the cars of media guys and other spectators that arrived before was literally stucked.
We manage to go out by calling ALL the people that stopped the road.
Then, going from SS5 to SS7 I just met casually Mikkelsen on the road. He was stopped because he had gearshift problem in normal street (at least it is what people said). I took a picture but didn't bother him too much, just said hello :)

Lappi
"I hit some rocks, broke the steering arm and then went across the road and hit some more. We fixed it. It was not so bad. My mistake though. All that's missing is a front drive-shaft - that's somewhere on the stage. We have only rear-wheel drive now."
(42 - Al-Attiyah Nasser / Baumel Matthieu): It was not easy but we tried and we kept improving all afternoon. It is still a long rally and a difficult one. We will try not to make mistakes. Here I was not pushing but before I was. We are at the limit with the tyres now.
Camilli stopped
Ucci took 15 sec from Nasser.
Kopecky 1:40 Penalty ?!
What a great pace by Andreucci by the way. Stages of today are not those one of the Italian champioship but it must be said that Sardinia has always been a round until 2014.
By the way it's a pity he is 50 and he has never tried an WRC career...
Sordo is out. Lost wheel.
Lefebvre
Unfortunately we must abandon after going off road. The car is not damaged but we are stuck in the bushes. I am very disappointed, our sensations were improving ...

But Hayden is through although with some problems with the car. Hopefully he'll do it to the service! It's not far.
(20 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): We were a little lucky, something is broken or a flat tyre on the rear right. A corner threw us into a bank so we took it easy from there. Tomorrow stages are stages that Ogier and Latvala know well.
So let us close the book for this time. Ogier wins and nothing more to say. Iīm leaving I think...
Waiting for NORF.
Nasser crashed...
to many cars abandoned cars to clean the road tomorrow
Fuchs, Kremmer and Al Rahji also in troubles. WRC2 about survival as always...
43 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): The incident is part of motorsport, these things happen and they happened to me. I can drive faster. There is big potential on the car. This rally is not finished, the result is not going to be so good but we will try to learn until the end.
I think something happened. Every crew - lost 5-10 minutes
wtf !!!!! Ucci lost 10 minutes to Kuwari.
edit time mistake
Which genius made the decision to run 1,5 km long spectator stage at 6:57 a.m.?
