Certainly wish I was there.
My point is, if he was there, he wouldn't have so much time for internet :DQuote:

From what I saw today stood next to Mintex, it just seemed to be lacking a little bit in all areas, though not by much. Of course there might be more to come yet! It looks and sounds good though!Quote:

Looks like they'll be aiming for top 5 more than podium at this stage. Still interesting to see Bouffier's true pace after the mess up today! Excited for tomorrow - seeing ES1/4 and ES3/6 - both have good spots, and potential for snow on ES3 in the morn! Will post updates tomorrow night.
Thanks Allyc85 and pettersolberg29 :). Yeah car does sound good from ive heard/seen on vids. As long as the car isn't massively off the pace like say the suzuki sx4 was il be happy. Maybe the hyundai will be around the pace the Mini was when it made its debut or just a little behind that in competitiveness?Quote:

Aren't they supposed to build a completely new car for next year based on the new I20? If so all they really have to do this year is gather data and further develop the components.
First measure comes in sweden when power really counts. RMC is not (if weather conditions will be as predicted) the best rally to make an assessment of the i20.
Good point but shakedown was a tight layout where handling and speed out of corners was at a premium. On similar tyre choices with standard conditions throughout (dry with frozen mud turning to wet mud through the last half of the session). I don't think s/d will be representative of the whole rally but it did show the VW and Citroen combos are better at this time.Quote:

For sure. RMC SD tody was an indicator which told us very much of the state right now of the WRC-cars. And it looks that something lacks on the i20.Quote:

Even if they are a bit off the pace initially they'll soon catch up.
I dont know if it is so good to send Delecour behind Melicharek...Quote:

Really? Neuville on pace with the fastest Ford and faster than Hirvonen? This is shakedown. Times mean nothing.Quote:

Why is Meeke so far behind in the starting order?
What is the weather forecast for tomorrow?
Yes, thatīs right. But weīve seen other things too, but timing. But as said. Rally Sweden will tell more...Quote:

I hope the new Citroen boys will be able to compete for podiums at least and I hope Mikko gets his mojo back; I've never been his biggest fan but he is not as bad as he showed the last two years. It would be really nice if he and M-Sport could win at least one event this year.
I'm expecting Mikkelsen and Kubica to further improve throughout the year, neither are both fully ready yet but by the end of the year maybe things will start to come together?
Hyundai, I guess Neuville's first win won't come this year but if the 2015 car is good then maybe they can compete with VW eventually.
LOL f*cking ridiculous to have prokop running so high up the order - ahead of mikkelsen, meeke, delecour and even bouffier :angryfire. Why cant some sense not be included when making these decisions ...having delecour behind this 'random guy' is very stupid. Meeke and delecour could also be severely hampered or greatly benefit from running far back if weather changes quickly.
at some point mads says he aims for a top 5 finish and hopes the team thinks the same...Quote:
