We also have to know that things happens. It could also strike for example Ogier. (Regarding JML who was extremely unlucky)

Me too, it's already getting way too predictable. All that is left is the Ogier bin it whilst leading factor. Though he didn't in Sweden and already getting comfortably ahead now.Quote:

I'm beginning to miss Loeb too
Maybe Mikko is not right choice for teams 1st driver.. Big offs in rally finland and driving 2nd driver behind grönholm and loeb -> Mikko is not winning driver.. Waiting more young guns.. Thierry neuville is going very well..Quote:

[SS8] Mikko Hirvonen (Citroen) 12:55.1 "I don't know why I am so slow on that stage.
dont worry Mikko,we have ages to see you to be fast. ....
therefore neuville is surprsingly fast, i hope he can keep that pace up!
like Loeb when from 2,0 to 1,6 wrc cars.I really haven t got any problem if Ogier will dominate.Thats life, faster wins.Quote:

Yes, but the R5 would be once again a little bit simple and much cheaper to develop, but of course the best teams and drivers would make the difference...Quote:

Finally Neuville showing what I expected from him. Mikko as as lame as usual...
At last, Hirvonen speed up a little bit(like on first passage) :)
Well, that´s an improvement... Hope Mikko heads seconds before Ogier as well...
[SS9] Martin Prokop (Ford) 11:44.5 "For the next stages it will be difficult for me to have some rubber on the tyre…
[SS9] Michal Kosciuszko (Mini) 11:56.3 "More hot so the tyre wear is quite high. I am a little bit scared how we survive El Chocolate. It is clear and that is why the tyre consumption is higher.

Mikko just took almost 5 out of Neuville! Neuville doing good though and Mads. Mikko is a long way from being out of contention in this rally.Quote:

Engineers will need thatQuote:

What exactly happened in SS 3?
“About 300 metres after the start we were confronted with a large stone right in the middle of the ideal line in quite a quick corner. Because there was a lot of dust in the air at this point, I saw it too late. I tried to position the stone in the middle of the car as we passed over it, as the underride protection under the engine would certainly withstand the impact. Unfortunately the stone also hit the front suspension after the engine protection, and broke a wishbone in the process.”
Did the extent of the damage surprise you?
“To a certain degree, yes. That kind of thing never happened during testing. That once again goes to show that there are still big differences between testing and an actual rally. The engineers will analyse the damage in detail. Maybe it might make sense to reinforce the wishbones.”
Could you not have continued?
“If it had only been a few kilometres from the service then I would have tried. However, we were about 200 kilometres from the service at that point. We would not have made it.”
Will you be back in business tomorrow?
“Definitely. However, I will probably have to be the first man out on the route. As such, nobody should really expect particularly quick times from me tomorrow. I will use the rest of the rally to continue getting used to the Polo R WRC and gain more valuable experience on gravel.”
Stages 1 to 6 now up on WRC.com
Yes, it depends, but I can not compare the last ten years to the early 2000, 1990´s and the Group B era...Quote:

The change should have made already before the 1.6 WRCars were decided to replace the 2.0 WRCars so it is too late now, but we will see what happen in the future.. END OF THE STORYQuote:

scroll down the page, I don't know how to post a link to the individual videos on the WRC site. It is only a very short summary.Quote:

Indeed there is still a long way to go on a relatively rough rally, and in SS9 both Mads and Mikko took some time out of Ogier so I don't think it's completely over yet, altough Ogier seems to be in control.
As for the rest of the season, domination is a bit harsh but the Ogier/VW combo looks to have the edge. Too bad Loeb didn't do a full year, I think it would have been a classic.
