Neuville had different tyre choice in the morning if I recall.
Anyway what is really huge is the difference between Nevuille and other Ford drivers. The question is if they are so slow or the car is slower than competitors and Neuville is so extraordinary driver. I tend to believe in first option.
Mirek now we have many proof from many drivers about it.
proof 1 Mikko
proof 2 Neuville
best proof Master.
by the way Loeb is after Mads and road position mustn t be good
[SS5] Mads Ostberg (Ford) 6:09.3 "Its not so bad, but quite slippery in some of the junctions, a lot of the gravel pulled out. Mainly it was dry with just gravel on the road. Getting better and better, I feel more confident."

Not mechanical, D - just crap tyre selection! - so the problem was of his own making.
However that is less wear on the softs for later in the rally.

Show me the contract I signed up to for that!!!! ;)
Saying Ogier has hit a problem, even if it is psychological, does nothing to minimise Loeb's performance. You've become beer-o-philic ;)

Actually in 1999 there was a power stage in Tour de Corse and in Thousand Lakes rally (Finland). The official name was not Power Stage but the 3 fastest pilots in the stage scored 3, 2 and 1 points like they do nowadays. In both rallyes that stage was not the last one. In Finland Tommi Mäkinen and Didier Auriol scored points in that stage but did not finish the rally (both had mechanical problems I believe). But the points were added to their world rally championship total.
Excellent point, I stand corrected.

Re: Rallye France Alsace 2013
BUMP!!
The sound of jaws dropping and everyone coming back to earth - What a rally and what a stage to come next!!
-
Re: Rallye France Alsace 2013
Yeah, the Rally is great, though it's not what we expected to be Seb vs Seb
-
Re: Rallye France Alsace 2013
Everybody expected Loeb, Ogier to fight for the win, and destroy the competition while doing it, yet it's Neuville that leads after SS6. Interesting :) And what a great live TV, however I don't see Eurosport's production inferior.

Re: Rallye France Alsace 2013
4 drivers in 4 seconds, nice!

I think that you try to minimise again Loeb?
-
Re: Rallye France Alsace 2013
Yeah come on, Loeb is beaten by someone who is doing only his second WRC season and "only" with a Ford (remember how much some people on this forum degraded the Fiesta WRC when Jari-Matti Latvala and Mikko Hirvonen were driving it?). :D
