I agree ... something simply has to be done at the M-Sport Ford team. This is humiliating...Quote:

ford might be lucky to have a car in the top 5.
this is embarassing for them.
Mikko seems to make driver errors every event now.
Pushing too hard to try and keep up I think. The Fiesta is solid car but lacks compared to the DS3, so they are all over driving to make up for it.
i like the times of meeke ...Mini 3-4 ???? yes please....
So after only two rallyes the Mini's are perfroming better than the fords... food for thought
Fantastic job by Prodrive Mini !!!! Sordo and Meeke are really doing a great race
Didn't expect Ogier could challenge Loeb on his own "territory"(since 2002)
Extremely frustrating to watch Ford now. How does ALWAYS something come up...Changes are soon be needed but the question is what to change. One has to remember the resources. PSA against M-sport. 3-4 times more money and engineers compared to M-sport...so is the Ford on it's limits all-ready?
Well, he is faster than Östberg and many others on SS4, so not so bad...Quote:

If not, i think we will have to say goodbye to the blue oval in the Wrc. Oh well maybe thats ok with new manufactors coming in...
JML seems to have a lot of mechanical drama that appear to be reliability issues, he deserves better.
he needs to change his luck( Volkswagen ?)
well as far as speed goes not yet....the fact that they are close is good though because that might push BMW to throw some money in if they see they can snaych the place from ford without big efford if they are so close...Quote:

The fact they win against solberg easily is good indication also.
Campnana throws the opportunity down the window....
Tanak 10 seconds faster than hanninen ..i REALLY like what i see....lets hope he changes car soon.
According to a friend on stage Juho is without rear bumper. That would explain the time lost on second split...
Like Meeke's style.. He's a fighter! But OK still 0.5s per KM from factory Citroens, but not bad.
Hirvonen hit a wall on stage 4.
Hirvonen hit a wall and damage the real wheel suspension. Hirvonen said: “My mistake. I went wide and hit the wall”.
The results so far: First is Loeb followed by Ogier at only +0.9 sec. M. Hirvoven is third at +1:00.9. Forth is Dani Sordo with Mini at +1:08.0. Peter Solberg is fifth at +1:29.6. Sixth place for Kimi Raikonen, seveth is H. Solberg and eight is D. Kuipers followed by Latvala on ninth at +3:09.0.
the time difference between hanninen and tanak remains considering their experience levels on tarmac tanak delivers greatly.
Ken Block slower than Latvala, no surprize there, just that Latvala's fiesta is running with 2 cylinders!! where is slow motion and second takes when you need them Ken?

Weisj prooves he was a good choice for a VW skoda...lets hope the support continues.
compared to the official minis i think he loses more than he should.Quote:

so all these guys who say that this years wrc are equal faster crawl back to your caves....
9 secs in 19 kms...0.5 slower/km after 7 events mind you....
Next year they are going to be equal which is good.
I tried to resist but I'm gonna have to bite! Firstly, Petter is within 20s of the lead Mini despite losing around 25s in an incident on SS2 - how does this constitute an 'easy win'? Secondly, you know as well as anyone that Solberg is simply not this slow a driver and surely you'll finally admit that being a privateer nowadays gets you nowhere, and it contrasts massively with the factory support Sordo and Meeke get from BMW?Quote:

You can't compare him to official mini's. Sordo has 5 seasons in WRC already, driving the Xsara and the C4. Meeke had driven wrc cars in wrc rounds before and has a lot of experience in s2000 car as a IRC champion. Campana on the other hand is 2wd champion and if I'm not mistaken this year rally Corsica was his first in s2000 car.Quote:
