If i was Latvala or his Manager, I'd be on the phone to VW.....a broken driveshaft again, the same problem the Focus had.Quote:

I agree, Mikko should be replaced. The only problem is, the best choice as a replacement has already been signed by Mini, and has never been offered anything by Ford since his BRC S1600 days. Poor management by Malcolm to have faith in Mikko for so long now. If he can't fight Loeb for this win Malcolm might wake up!
What kind of BS is it with 3 x SS on sub 4 km ?
Real finale would to have the magnum stage on 48 last or second last !
Latvala - Hanninen would be a very nice combination to any team
Not yet !!!Quote:

Loeb still shows he is the man to beat so he might not retire after this year...
Really? What is he doing? Is it confirmed?Quote:

I still thnk JML has his loyalty to Ford and Wilson.... Ogier will stick with Citroen and they will pick up another up and coming driver.. perhaps a Fin of some sort....
the results so far show that the ford is not a winning car...i think latvala is at least as fast as Ogier and a 38 year old Loeb....
Latvala is forced to squeeze everything out of the ford to be on pace with the citroen guys thus he has tech problems....
Citroen is going for 5th win in a row and we still have the tarmac rounds to go.....i think thats not coincidence and the french are ahead of the competition.
I'd scarfice loyalty to be World Rally Champion.Quote:

Hirvonen has a different approach he goes pretty fast but no risks...so he gets good points on every round and waits for the true rally drivers to make mistakes so he can benefit and steal the championship....the ridicule he got from Loeb in GB a few years back contributed to such mentality also. I think Ford will be his home from now on.....
Thats is not true in the past we had world champions from private teams as well for example burns at prodrive.....Quote:

6 mins till stage start
Loeb will drive with one eye in the road and the other in splits. As he see advantage at splits to Ogier maximum attack.
i dike to know at what condition is Ogiers ds3.
20 seconds in 9kms is not possible....plus you do not get splits in a 3 km stage.
DS3 condition

Ogier: "I have no power steering. I will do what i can, I tried to fixed the car, it's not that bad, it'll be ok until the end.
I think it will be difficult, we will see and we will try."
Power steering problem for Ogier !!!!!
Ogier through stage 17.....
Mikko: "Yes we are getting close but Loeb is getting close behind, but not a perfect drive, a few mistakes, it's going to be close"
Hirvonen 8 seconds faster !!!!!
do you know Ogiers ds3 condition? he rolled Greg.Quote:

try these...do not know if they work though..
Loeb: "Yes, Ogier and Mikko it's only two seconds, we cannot do anything against Ogier, we can only fight with Mikko, the rest we will see. We will see how the stage goes for the next one and after".
Loeb 0.6 faster than Hirvonen !!! its getting really close.....if ogier doen't fix this somehow then he will finish 3rd.
At least Loeb has a ''reason'' to push for win.Mikko is close lol
