Poor Seb :(
let's see your finger now, seb :dozey:
Go Webber ! :p
sutil does a turkey vettel :s
Glad that Red Bull are out. They didn't wanted to race anyway.
Alonso didn't want to race either. Lets hope him and Button drop the ball too so that the racers all benefit (am I really rooting for Lewis here? I feel dirrrty now)
What do the "experts" here think the state of Marks engine will be? The gearbox might be a bit scratched, but will this, his "good" engine be OK or is he now suddenly stuck with the well used lumps?
I actually feel pretty sorry for Vettel despite wanting Webber. That was tough.
Yeah that's good. Let's have Alonso out so the racers get rewarded!
lewis has thrown in the towel...
everyones tires are shot :o
2 sec in S1 :o
what racers? Alonso is the only one below 1:54 with a 1.51 :dozey:Quote:

congrats on Alonso, good result for Hamilton
plus it helps me in FGP :)
Good work by Liuzzi.
Alonso a good candidate for the joker laugh in the next Batman movie. WTF was that on the radio? Never seen a guy gloat this much on his competitors' misfortune. Anybody remember the celebration mid race at Suzuka 2006 when MS' engine blew?
Yes, Alonso and Lewis were very good, as well as Vettel and M Schumacher.Quote:

Good race, should be even better next year
So, two races to go, Webber is 11 points behind Alonso, Vettel is 25.
Does RBR have to support Webber now or do they still support both equally and potentially no one wins?
Nurburgring 2005 tops all, but it for me when a team puts everything into speed it is OK for a driver with a slower, but more reliable car to celebrate when something like this happens.Quote:

Alonso only needs a 4th and a 3rd in the final two GP's to see off Vettel, so again, does RBR need to support just Webber now?
Putting aside the fact that today was Webbers own fault and not Vettel's, he was just unlucky, does RBR need to put emotion aside and back the one horse for the championship or potentially risk neither driver winning it?
I think they do...
Plus I'm sure he took this one by cheatingQuote:

How's Kimi  ;)
Lucky for Alonso that the stewards weren't bothered about him dropping more than 10 car lengths back from Vettel during one of the SC periods ;)
4 points in the lead now, plus the other 7 that he gained by cheating.

A very disjointed race, for once maybe the race would have been better without rain. Still congratulations to Fernadno Alonso for winning and taking the championship lead. Mark Webber blew it and then Renault blew it for Sebastian Vettel. Lewis Hamilton drove well but I don't think his mistake into turn 1 at the restart cost him chance of victory as he was completely unable to match Alonso's pace towards the end of the race.
Is that you Tazio?Quote:

(Off to learn witchcraft to put a hex on the number 8 Ferrari  )
Webber basically needs to win at least one of the remaining GP's, and finnish infront of Alonso in the other.
I honestly cannot see either Vettel or Hamilton winning it from here unless Alonso DNF's one of the final races.
I can tolerate Alonso as champion, as long as it's by +7 points!
Which is possible. Nothing is sure yet, absolutely nothing. This championship is a thriller.
I don't think he actually dropped back, technically. I think that impression was the result of the safety car telling cars to pass etc. I think the gap was as a result of putting everyone in order. And I don't think there was any advantage gained.Quote:

Fair play to Button for admitting it wasn't clever tactics to come in for inters when he did as he had no choice as had used up all his wets.
EJ says that McLaren needs Jenson to play support for Lewis and they have to bring in team orders, but is that really necessary as it doesn't seem there is much pressure from Button onto Hamilton anyway.
how about championship standings with the medal system ? :p
