Is rallye du Mont-Blanc in program for Robert Kubica
I think no. Why ?
No, Kubica drives in the same weekend the Rally del Friuli in Italy.Quote:

Hi Tom, looks like another great rally like last year. Meeke out again I see, this time in the DS3.Quote:

Thankyou Vino. It's quite close to where I'm staying (Avignon) so I might try to have a look.
I hope for you that the weather will be good ... because now it's a bit bad :( but maybe in the South of France it's better than north but ... I'm not sure

Of course everything can happen on such rally  we cannot exclude a victory of Pieter Tsjoen if he's more reliable than everyone else despite his lack of knowledge
Frédéric Comte and Pierre Roché will be also interesting to follow, but they'll have to discover their whale unlike the other "top drivers in WRC" :mark:
Wonder what the new Porsche GT3+ can do in the hands of Romain Dumas and Gilles Nantet perhaps a great surprise :D
Today are scruteneering and shakedown before start of the rally tomorrow morning ;)
Dumas has a new GT+ Porsche ? I think he will have the same car as before because the GT+ isn't able to race now :/
Can't believe Pieter Tsjoen is leading Mont-Blanc in front of Dany Snobeck after SS5
Pieter :)
Fantastic !!!! Kris Meeke leading the Group R and 2WD class for just 1" ahead Manu Guigou at the end of leg one :D
Really great car that Citroën DS3 R3
Gilles Nantet 5th overall in the new Porsche GT+ :)
Nothing is won for Tsjoen tomorrow, as Snobeck reduced the gap at 8.6s ;)

Start leg two(SS8 12km long)in about 20 minutes ;)

End of hope for Pieter Tsjoen at Mont-Blanc !!!! After off road(SS9)now big turbo problem on his Focus(on SS10)and it remains a long stage to run(SS11 20km)before reaching assistance service ;(
Frédéric Comte leading for 12" ahead of Dany Snobeck(who had a puncture on SS8)
Good battle between Meeke and Guigou, Meeke now ahead.
Looks like Tsjoen managed to repair the turbo of the Focus he was 3rd fastest(+10")but had to go late(he would get 30" penalty because 3 minutes late)
Good news for him because even if he can't win the event, he can get important points there ;)
Leader Frédéric Comte rolled his whale in SS12 and had a puncture(retirement, too damaged car) :(
Snobeck is now leading Tsjoen and Bouffier with one long stage left to go ;)
What race for Comte ! It's shame for Pieter :( He and Bouffier take 16 pts, Robert takes just 11 pts.
1 Snobeck
2 Tsjoen +1'20"7
3 Bouffier +1'59"9
4 Roché +2'24"5
5 Nantet +3'00"6
6 Robert +4'27"6
7 Maurin +4'59"4
8 Dumas +5'21"2
9 Gal +5'47"7
10 Bonfils +6'32"8
11 Meeke +7'03"4
12 Dub +7'26"6
13 Guigou +7'52"8
14 Amourette +7'55"5
15 Dommerdich +9'16"8
Robert 69 pts
Tsjoen 64 pts
Bouffier 57 pts
Guigou 46 pts
Amourette 45 pts
Dub 37 pts
...
the Ds3 seems to be the car to beat in R3 class especially since the Clio of Guigou i think is the factory supported renault with around 250 hp.

It's not just about peak power. DS3 has on the other hand much higher torque, anti-lag and paddle shifting. Another thing is that although I consider Manu Guigou really good driver, he is still not a world class driver like Meeke.
Kimi Räikkönen leading logically the Rallye Vosgien after two stages ;)
Would have been worring and annoying the opposite :mark:

Don't forget in the same time of Rallye de France WRC there's also the Grand National(event of french tarmac championship)ths week-end ;)
To follow it http://www.patricksoft.fr/
Tsjoen was dominating Robert on the first three stages until a mistake on SS4 and now Robert in the lead(for 5")
Retirement for Tsjoen before start SS5: his Focus broke down at service park :(
Next week rallye terre des Cardabelles, next round of french gravel championship
Cuoq back to the whale, ultra favourite for the win :p :
Not less than four S2000s(a record on gravel french championship) :bounce:
All usual contenders of the championship are there(including the Belgians, favourite certainly Bernard Munster in his Octavia WRC) ;)

Don't forget to follow the first outing on gravel of the Citroën DS3 R3 :)
Problem's for Robert in stage 10 with differential on the 307 he must drive in road mode....

It's unbelievable !!!! Manu Gascou for the first time in S2000 was 11" faster than gravel specialist Jean-Marie Cuoq on SS1 terre des Cardabelles
Very good start for Yazeed Al Rajhi also, 3rd fastest :)
Another link to live results http://www.ffsa.org/res_rallye.php?i...&catCourse=ral
Just an incredible start ...
1 Cuoq (307)
2 Gascou (207) +8"6
3 Carbonaro (Focus) +45"0
4 Jacquot (207) +55"6
5 Tirabassi (Lancer) +56"9
6 Chieusse (206) +58"8
7 Bruyneel (Impreza) +1'00"2
8 Munster (Octavia) +1'10"8
9 Al Rajhi (207) +1'11"3
10 Battut (Impreza) +1'21"2
Great performance by Swiss Laurent Reuche, 14th overall, leading the Volant 207, and just ahead of the brand new Citroën DS3 that debuts on gravel :)
After Tanghe on SS1 terre des Cardabelles, it's Bruyneel's time to retire among the Belgians(SS4) ;(
How old is this guy Snobeck?
