Duval has a time of 21.14

Duval made it to finish, loosing quite a lot of time tough. :(
Where are the times of Travaglia and Longhi ???
Travaglia: 19.11.1 tutto beneQuote:

Looks like the stage is stopped because somebody went off and blocked the road. If you have a higher starting number, this rally really sucks. :(
Yes Tom, i guess he is seventh overall now, and Hanninen will be in the points too now.Quote:

The live times are really terrible in this rally and the communication also, we just don't know anything wath is happening there :confused:Quote:

Last stage of the rally should be live now, will we see any surprises?
Yip, 00 car just cleared the stage.Quote:

That is almost 20 sec of Meeke's pace the first run trough
Rossetti: 20.32.0, so he stays in front for Andreucci for CIR
Vouilloz 20.27.6, so he finishes 1,2 of a second of Rosetti
Meeke 20.27.4, he wins the rally :)
Meeke and Nagle 2009 IRC champions. Well done. Great rally.
What a finish, i think Travaglia takes second, Rosetti third, Vouilloz fourth and Loix fifth and Andreucci sixth, but all in bits of seconds.
What time from Travaglia in the last stage
He kicks off Vouilloz from podium ;)
Oh no...puncture for Sciascia in that last stage ;(
4 minutes lost by Chentre...looks like a big puncture too :(
Rosetti takes second, i miscounted for one second, so Travaglia is third.
I don't understand what happened to Andreucci ... maybe Pirelli tyres not good for today temperatures ? Which tyres does Travaglia use ?
Well done to Meeke, deserved his victory and championship title.
So, in the IRC championship, it looks like this:
1. Meeke 60 points(7 results)
2. Kopecky 49 points (6 results)
3. Loix 36 points (7 results)
4. Vouilloz 30 points (5 results)
5. Basso 28 points (6 results)
6. Hanninen 21 points (4 results)
Great win for Meeke, and a fully deserved championship win, he really has been a class act this year.
He has worked for and deserved every chance he has had, great to see talent still able to rise to the top. Malcolm Wilson, if your reading this ;-) just think you could have had this guy in 1 of your cars!
No money no drive.. GIVEEE MEEE ALLLL YOUUU GOTTTT..
Well done to Kris, Paul, Peugeot UK & Kronos
Kris fully deserved this championship and worked very hard to get this oppurtunity.
Also a very happy Mr.McRae will be looking down this evening and saying I told you so, he saw the talent in Kris from day one.
What has now exactly happened with François Duval ?
Does somebody has more news about his retirement ?
Great victory for Meeke and he fully deserves the title !
well done kris meeke! IRC champion!
Apparently Travaglia has taken deliberately road penalty so that Andreucci finishes in front of him. He did this so that he doesn't take points away from Andreucci in the CIR. So in final results Vouilloz takes third, Loix fourth, Andreucci fifth and Travaglia sixth.
So, in the championship Loix and Vouilloz both have one extra point, Loix 37 and Vouilloz 31 points. :D
Congratulations Kris Meeke and Paul Nagle

2009 Intercontinental Rally Challenge Champions
I just cannot believe. Rally is finished for some hours now, and on IRC site they gave in points standings Loix 4 points, Voullioz 5 points and Travaglia 6 points. They clearly don´t know the results.... In offical classification of Sanremo rally, they also have that kind of results, which are obviously not correct.

Did the Pirellis of Andreucci work best in cool conditions, and then better than the BFG's ?
