It seems Loeb's experience gives him a small advantage so far!!
Latvala of course still have problems. I really hope he won't slow Petter down...
Latvala could well be near 3 mins off the pace after SS3. Who knows if he will get things fixed in the 15 min remote service.
Petter slower than Dani on split 2/SS3 :mark:
Mikko managed to pull back some time. 2 scenarios here, Loeb being cautious, just wants to take little by little, or Mikko is going completely on the limit - or even over?
Good morning all. Listening in to WRR and watching times on WRC.com as well.
I'm hoping for a Mikko victory, and a good result from Petter as well.
An amazing time from Nikara on SS1, you Finns just keep pumping them out.
Mikko says "taking it too steady and braking too early"
If that's the case Loeb is just cruising. Hard to know what is really happening.
Good morning mate!!Quote:

Loeb sounds very confident. "Everything is perfect" .... the mind games begins...
petter has to overtake latvala in this one...he is only 45 sec behind after half way through the stage..hope latvala at least take a look at his mirror
Mikko, wake the f--- up!
8,9 seconds already... Why isn't Mikko pushing?
Loeb takes a big advantage now...
8.9 is a good distance that Loeb knows how to protect :champion:
Qassimi +1'25" on first split !!! :s :s
Already passed him I think. Doesn't look that Petter lost too much.Quote:

Ok, so Latvalas driveshaft broke and destroyed the brake hose so thatīs why he went of.
Latvala speaking of a mechanically weak drive shaft. Does anyone have 100% sure information that he truly went off (due to a driver mistake) in the first one? I'm still not buying it.
JM did had a moment in Sweet Lamb but that was because of the front brakes failed.
Fords seem veeeeeeery vulnerable....Damn it!!!
Sadly what Ford shows in the first 3 stages of their home rally.
I think the second run through will give us a clearer picture of how the rally will develope this weekend. If Mikko can't fight back, it might be a walk in the park for Blub.

Great pace by Brynildsen, he is a lot faster then Sandell with same car and less experience of that car. Fight in PWRC looks good, but also Nikara is setting great times, he is really good driver also. ;)
Yes, great pace by Brynildsen. I don't rate Sandell, he was nowhere with the big boys in JWRC a few years back.

looks not so good for sandell, he was much closer to "old grN" for the whole year...and this with 2 years S2000 expieriance!!!
Sandell isnīt the fastest driver, he only wins when everyone else has problems.
Patrik Flodn should have been in Sandells car instead.
Rest of day action in about two hours
Agree with the previous posts, great pace from Brynhildsen in only his third rally with the Fabia!
don't worry, they will get the things going :s mokin:Quote:

Go Mikko Go !!!!!
We (me too) may have been a bit premature but until we hear officially I'm inclined to think Latvala went off and broke d/shaft. He is quoted as saying:Quote:

We shall see.
He may come on rally radio shortly.
Petter says he is now going to push, let's hope.
Ive heard that before from Latvala in Finland... but he failed to mention he hit a massive rock on the previous corner.
Let's hope we hear exactly what happened.Quote:
