Big disappointment for Petter, he was so eager and fast this weekend, and was about to have a podium finish !!!! I'm really disappointed...

Maybe I would have scored points with my Astra 1,6 1996 model?? :D
This says it all my friends. :p :
It was 29 minutes at the end last year - so perhaps there is light at the end of the tunnel ;-)Quote:

Sebastien completes the last proper stage. Five wins out of five, five Argentina victories out of five, and it really seems like six titles at the end of the season...
What a rally!!!We cannot relax even in the last day!!Veeery bad for Ford and Petter....

There are big difference between works teams and the others. JML was 47 s behind Petter after first day and at the end of the second JML was 1 min ahead of Petter.
Is there any possibility that Malcolm promotes JM to third again??There are 3 Fords in front of him...
No way Villagra would let his 4th position, and by the way; there is no logical possibility that JML gets a chance to fight for championship points

how about me
a finn with a 2007 GRAND Scenic 2.0T
Podium ????
Sad to say but even the arounddriving competition in Bahrain was almost more interesting (and that is really bad....)
I'd have to say it was, as was the MotoGP race.......Quote:

very nice win.....this might wake up the people at ford and order maximum attack from now on since everything is lost.....
Tango Rally Team ran PWRC several years ago, so they knew/know the rulesQuote:

That maximum attack is what I'm looking for as well. It'd be interesting to see Hirvonen's pace on next rounds. Driving for the second place would've worked as long as Seb would've provide a few mistakes like he did last year, but this year - you know it. Now that everything is virtually lost both championships wise, Hirvonen should show is maximum speed - and hopefully we haven't seen that just yet (although - when was the last time he gained something by attacking or evenattacked?).Quote:

I agree 100% with your post here.Quote:

What a great display of talent from Villagra and the Munchi's WRT!
Buena, Coyote!!!! :D :D :D :D
Sorry to disappoint you.....but we have already seen the maxium attack from Ford so nothing else will come from them apartf rom maybe withdrawl from WRC?Quote:

5 out of 5 for Loeb is impressive of both him and Citroen.
But in my mind this should speak for that the current WRC cars are killed off after this season, if some excitement is to come in 2010 !
Don't know if you heard but Ken Rees' suitcase was tolen in service - containing Petter and the team's passports, plans, documents, laptop and money. I hope he can recover it otherwise it may be hard for his team to get going again with all the plans and documents gone.
pettersolberg29,just read your signature, not the best weekend for you...
Solberg retired,Heidfeld finished last....
More luck next time ;)
I think it's a very sad weekend for the WRC
Villagra and Wilson 4th and 5th,last place occupied by N4 cars,3 cars in JWRC,6 in PWRC...
I admit I did not follow this rally
Worst. Day. Ever.Quote:

I didn't follow the rally much either, just checked the stages time. This reminds me of Argentine 2008 when Conrad got 4th place by being 20minutes behind. Loeb leads and other drivers try catching and in the process get into problems and retired. Then slower drivers gets higher place because of other retirements. At this rate, Loeb will win every single rally, even if Hirvonen didn't retired I'm not sure he can catch Loeb. Every single rally Loeb start off caution on the first day and then day three he pulls away from the rest and no one can catch up, I don't get it. FIA should make WRC a two days event, there will be more fighting incentive in two days than three.
Same sentiments mate!!Ford lost everything... :( At least Kimi won three points :dozey:Quote:

Well.. very nice start for the rally and much closer caps than normal in Argentina. last year Conrad was 20 minutes behind and fourth this year Villagra lost less than 6 minutes and was still 4th.
I am most dissapointed to Citroen team. two of their cars seem to be 100% but their Junior team has had nightmare start of the season due to driver faults and tech. errors. look at the standings. Villagra alone in Munchis team (12 points) has almost passed Citroen junior team (13 points) in overall standings. And Munchis has done only three rallies while Citroen has done 5!
Very bad..
Looking forward to next European rally!
