SS6 ???
SS6 starts at 23:30.
Surprising that Odložilík is fast. That is the first time in a rally for the International Czech Championship this season.
Tom, here is the timing: http://www.autosport.cz/zavody/soubo...d2adbb6c906143
Thanks ;)
Some more news from interwievs.
Kresta had 2WD for one half of SS2. The clutch releasing rear axle with handbrare was opened. He repaired that in road section. He said he choosed not the best tyres.
Drivers didn't like spectator stage at all. Some of the drivers also took wrong way in one junction there (Tarabus, Triner...). Šlehofer lost power steering in SS1 (in water splash) but managed to repair it on the road section. Tlusťák retired (alternator).
The stages were completely muddy and wet but some drivers had slicks (Arazim for example).
Štajf was off road on SS2. Jelínek crashed on SS7 but continues.
Černý and Křížek were off road on SS6 but both continue.
Tarabus had problems with handbrake (no rear axle release).
Odložilík and Barvík were also off road and Votava twice off road and leaking turbo pipe problem.
Thank you Mirek for all these info's. So after first day Kresta in the lead with Pech in second and Orzak in third, while Valousek did nice return to take fourth after him loosing quite a lot of time on stage 1. :)
Orsák crashed on SS10.
Odložilík lost wheel.
How come that some stages Valousek s loosing quite a lot of time and on other ones he is really good, does he had some problems today?
Petr Hozák crashed behind the flying finish of SS13. Road is blocked now. Crew should be ok.
Tarabus big crash on SS14. Crew should be quite ok, some bruises etc...
He said he has way too much kilometers on his engine and turbo and therefore drives rather slowly. And also said that in this strange slow driving he made two driving mistakes (ditch and spin).Quote:

9. Votava (Evo IX) +6:38,3 (no 3rd gear)
10. Pantálek (Evo IX) +6:42,9
So no surprises. Kresta wins the rally in front of Pech and Valousek. I'm especially happy to see that the winner of Citroen C2 R2 Trophy is Polish driver Lukasz Habaj! Congratulations!
Great photos from DoN: http://rallyphotos.cz/photos/hustopece09/
Jarek: Yes, it's great that Lukasz finaly finished. He was always fastest from Citroën Trophy drivers but had many technical problems...
How come Orsak drove Gavlak's car?
Gavlák is no more in K.I.T. Racing while Orsák is now on his place. The reason is probably in results...

Not a good place to park your Ascona/Cavalier. Wonder why it wasnt moved before the event?!
It wasn't on stage. It was behind flying finish but the crew had a mistake in pacenotes and went too fast there (they had pacenotes leading into different street). Funny crash though, fortunately without injuries (I know co-driver well) :)
But it's true that the finish wasn't placed well. After the crash they moved it some fifty meters.
Ouch! If the car belonged to a marshal who was part of the flying finish crew then it kind if makes it worse! Glad no one was hurt though.Quote:

Pavel Valoušek will drive another round of rallycross championship in Sedlčany with Skoda Fabia Cup (4x4 Haldex, cca 380 Hp). His main rival will be Jani Paasonen.
Roman Kresta will drive Škoda Fabia WRC from Wevers Sport on Rallysprint Kopná 4th July.
Great entrylist for Rallysprint Kopná: http://www.rallysprintkopna.cz/2009/...prihlaseni.pdf
Including Kresta, Štěpánek, Drotár and Trněný with WRC (2x Fabia, 2x Octavia), Grzyb, Tarabus, Peták and Odložilík with S2000 (2x Punto, 2x 207). Valoušek, Orsák, both Semerád with gr.N or Enge with CNG Lancer.
The only problem is the same date as Vészprém (4th July).
