Is this the first time a WRCar has popped up this season? My memory is shite.
5 Pumas.
No Ingram.
WRC3 Open showdown.
Suninen first time on tarmac this year. Rossel taking part.
Else a bit disappointing, no Rally1 "wildcard", no new Fabia.

I will post my route preview soon but Saturday and Sunday are same as last year, as is one of the Friday stages, but another Friday stage is reversed and two others are new.

Does really Breen has any chance to win? He's good on tarmac but he didnt find it with puma.I really hope for a good result maybe a podium.
He was second in Ypres last year *

But this is more smooth tarmac, quite a difference to Corsica which he was relatively okay in, back in the day. Will be a tricky one for him, he hasn't done the event since 2018 and as a consequence he doesn't have the experience of the rally being full tarmac like the rest of the crews. It's going to be tough for him & Paul, fingers crossed, this time they can end Paul's (WRC) co-driving career on a high.

It is not so easy to find events with this charateristics in WRC. But we can mention also Circuit of Ireland 2016 and 2015, Rallye du Valais 2015...
But it is not only about the results, but about the speed. On such type of surface, he is capable to make good stage times.
The title fight is over and maybe the excitement is also gone but IMO we have really interesting rally ahead.
Nobody doesnt have to hold back anymore and can go flat-out, no tactics or games anymore. The favourites in my eyes are Rovanperä, Tänak, Neuville and Ogier but i cant put a certain bet which one of them will win it. We know how good Kalle is this season, now the pressure is also gone. Ott has been in fantastic form the second half of the season and he has been 2nd and 1st on two tarmac events this year, Thierry has won the event past 2 years and he is always very fast on tarmac, Ogier is for sure pissed off he doesnt a win yet this season and is going for it.
Tänak can also secure his 2nd position in the championship if he gets 1 point more than Thierry at the end of the rally and Evans doesnt get more than 27 points than Tänak.
Anyone have a link to google maps?
Looks like some heavy rain tomorrow on Friday stages, but fairly dry albeit cloudy during the event.
SD delayed. Right now some safety type of car on the startline...
Kalle a lot faster then Ott, something to do with the tyres is suppose?
Tanak on full wets...
Edit: I might misheard...
Why Tänak was so slow ?
Rain started and he had hards in full wet conditions
Obviously hards are wrong choice here, but why they chose them..?
Risk of not enough softs for rally?
showing less rain now. Sorry, forgot to add the links.
