BBC Weather | Silverstone Circuit
Looks like we are in for a mixed bag of weather this weekend.
Lets hope if it rains, they let them race.
Silverstone is one of my favourite tracks. Looking forward to a good race :)
Another race I'm going to miss.... not on purpose but still no regrets. I keep my finger crossed of barry & co. to see another 'epic' race. I just wonder how many epic races can one season have?
Looks like wet in practice, damp for qualifying and dry for the race at the moment.
If you can get it BBC Look East are going to be live at Silverstone tomorrow 6.30pm with Martin Brundle.
Thanks for that.Quote:

Prepare for an incoming storm as teams argue about precise interpretation of blown diffuser ban. It's going to get complicated!
Well it seems that the FIA had brew up a nice sh!t storm with this rule change by giving some engine manufacturer(s) special dispensation to continue running some degree of off throttle blowing due to 'reliability issues'.
Why oh why couldn't they just wait for the end of the season?!
This season will be remembered for all the wrong reasons: crappy tires, idiotic DRS, shambolic mid season rule changes and 2 tier rules on top of it!
I was at Silverstone today.
It was very wet alot of the time, and not much useful running if Quali is bone dry.
I have a question.
Has the Luffield and woodcote section been changed this year or last when the new section was bought in. I came home from being there and watched the session and something around that area looked different.
I sat at Vale and watched the exit of Stowe, Vale and Club and the new pit entry. Of all the cars I saw going into the pits in Session 2, it was Schumacher who attacked the pit line to its maximum. Like the old days he seemed to be the only one learning the limit of braking into the pits. So he is still always leanring and experimenting.
ferrai is looking good, rbr cloose. Maclaren, off, lost, hamiltoun.
We will se.
Well done RBR!
McLaren looks to get some payback for the crap they brewed over the last 2 days.
I think we should have a poll. How many laps will there be behind the safety car in the event of a wet start? I figure about 10. :(
Did they ditch Charlie meanwhile or are you just being overoptimistic?! ;)Quote:

ferrari is gaining track, maclaren has lost the plot and is now out. RBR have to be careful.
Highlight of the weekend, nay year - MUZZA! :)
Infectiously excitable on Five Live this morning, and just like old times with Martin this afternoon. Brilliant.

I thought Red Bull didn't use team orders? ;)
What a shame, Webber confirming he's a number 2 driver then?Quote:

Last year Mark said "not bad for a #2 driver". This year they showed him...
Webber looks fairly pissed off doesn't he... might be the final straw that will see him leave RBR, which is probably Marko's intention as it was no doubt his decision to send that message to Mark on the final lap.
Channel 10, you've truly outdone yourself. Not only did the OneHD website crash before the start of the race, but the Channel 10 coverage on Freeview was delayed by TWO hours, including being delayed half an hour delayed for a delayed telecast.
People in South Sudan saw the British GP live, and we've only just started our coverage after the race ended because of NCIS and Hawaii-Five-****ing-O.
i'm not sure he was actually observing that instruction anyway
The message was sent by Horner himself, so quit talking rubbish about people you hate, for whatever reason.Quote:

A question about the LED rain lights on the cars.
Why did the Saubers still have their lights flashing after they had put slicks on?
