Untill 1999 the bodywork of super touring cars had to be identical in shape to the road cars. (except wings/splitters)
What bodypanels were allowed to be modified at the start of the 1999 season?

It made the cars easier to drive in the pit lane.
To be fair they weren't that bad! Anyway, looks like it's your go. :)Quote:

PDS gets the next go, by my reckoning.
What about... Name the only British driver to win a round of 2001 ETCC.
Matt Neal, Estoril
Correct. Closely followed by James Thompson in second place. James' highest place in the championship.Quote:

Interesting one. I suppose Peugeot's one-year re-entry in 2001 must count, unless you think that its previous years as a works team should be added on.
I mean the total number of years that a works manufacturer has competed in the series. So Peugeot doesn't count in this instance because of its involvement in 1998 and previously.
Mazda
Not Mazda
MG?
Nope
Lexus?
Lexus haven't actualy entered the BTCC as a works-backed team yet. It was Total Motorsport in 2001.
I know ABG Motorsport worked with Total Motorsport Racing on the black Lexi of Kurt Luby/Tommy Erdos. But I am sure they weren't a works team.
Who was Total Motorsport Andy?
Yes you're right there, they weren't a works team. I think my last post was misleading, the way I said 'It was total motorsport in 2001 [who represented Lexus as a non-works backed team].Quote:
