Great news!
That is indeed great news, so hopefully we will see massive entry of amateur drivers, because that is why they are doing it. Looking forward to it allready. :)
Guaranteed 100 car maximum entry! Fantastic idea though and just shows what events outside of the restrictive WRC can come up with...
I will not miss this for sure :D
I wish to drive at 2011 :D
hello to everbody...

do you want to take part to the Monte Carlo rally ? :D
I guess Stéphane Sarrazin will try for the 3rd time to add a victory there on his (quite light)rally palmares :p :
it is a dream, I only imagine.Quote:

I think it's not possible because of Eurosport TV schedule.Quote:

The only problem I see is that the last crews will go into the night stages way too late, specially if they do 2 minutes intervals.
It has a lot to do with that. Event timetable is made to suit TV schedule which is made months before. Basically a time between two runs of same stage is given by TV and You can't make it longer. I don't know how much it could affect particular stages but for sure it may be a reason.
Yeah probably but that is just bollocks.....Limit the number of entry's because of Eurosport seems ridiculous as they only show 20 crews and no more than that.
You have two options than. You can either run live stage at given time or run the stage without TV broadcast ;)
Well I remember that when Monte was in WRC the maximum number of entries was something like 60 (allowed). So, I was quite surprised by the number over hundred. More cars makes the event quite hard to organize (size of Service, Park ferme etc.).
Don't forget the free entry fee... ;)Quote:

Hi,
I am new at the forum & I am searching for some infos for the Rally Monte Carlo 2011. My team would like to participate , I have already sent some mails with the entry form etc but noone answered me yet.
Please , does anybody from here knows the procedure I should follow?

It isnt too late, I think they will be choosing at deadline of entries. I am sure, that if somebody like Ogier or Hirvonen will send entry form at last day, they wont say him no...
Isn't Hirvonen planning to do it (or maybe would like to do it)?
Thanks for your answers but I think I have found the solution.
They told me that at the first days of December the will give us an anwer.
Hope we are going to be in!!
Nice to see a Greek team competing in international events!!! ;)
I agree !
