Oliver Solberg has signed with Toyota and will compete in WRC2 next year in the Toyota GR Yaris Rally2.
The deal also includes 2/3 WRC races in the GR Yaris Rally1 but which these will be will be decided later.
Solberg will be Toyota’s lead driver for the 2025 WRC2 title and will therefore take over from Sami Pajari during the 2024 season. Solberg’s path is identical to Sami’s with a stint in WRC2 plus a few rounds in the top class with the ultimate goal of a full-time contract in the 2026 WRC.

It’s official, also saw on Twitter that he’s already testing the car on tarmac.
Now we wait who will be chosen by Škoda, pardon Toksport, to fight with Oliver in WRC2.
