steps involved in a race meet?

Hey is there anyone here that could elaborate on the steps you would undertake in running a team race car at a race meet? (between opening garage door at workshop to taking it to the race and returning it back to the workshop).

Has anyone here ever been involved in a race meet and could shed some light? (would love to hear from you!)

I'm just curious how it all works, and also want to do my next assignment on the logistics of it all.
