Time & TV Schedule - Pre-Race Show - 7:30PM Eastern , Green Flag - Approx. 8:50 PM Eastern- NBC Sports Network

Course Type - 2 Mile Oval

Distance - 250 Laps / 500 Miles

Practice Sessions -

Friday, September 14th -1:45 PM -3:15 PM Eastern & 8:45 PM -9:30 PM Eastern

Qualifications - Friday, September 14th - 5:15 PM - 6:45 PM Eastern

It is a shame that the championship is going to be decided on a cookie cutter oval.

Agreed! Especially 500 miles.

I hope Will Power takes the championship, leaves Penske and gets a ride with Dale Coyne to partner Justin Wilson the most underated driver in the paddoct and that Bordais gets to drive for HVM and Simona joins Penske.

to each their own. Personally I want the championship decided on a challenging track without the specter of it being decided by the engineers with their fuel mileage figures.

Fontana is a good end. Also, Not a "cookie cutter", Michigan's the only track like it.

I just hope it's better than the finale last year.
