fantastic news! great to see the vectra staying in BTCC and the new engine being used will give us a taster of how it will be after 2010. and im sure an interesting livery to boost! also, this free's up a place at team dynamics. johnny herbert anyone?
lol should be interesting to see the Vectra in his bright pink colour scheme, any photoshop gurus on here? ;)
Interesting to see that he will also be using the TOCA engine, im still a bit concerned about the sound that its going to make.
If the NGTC engine sounds like a Ford Focus WRC03/04 then we should be Ok. If it sounds like a PWRC Mitsubishi and therefore dull and flat, we'll be bored out of our minds....
At least we don't have a grid full of diesels!
By your powers combined... Pink Diesel Astra!

Does David really take this racing lark seriously,oR is it just a fun thing. He used to compete in the Firestone Series along time ago as did Matt Neal, and Charlie Cox
AND does anybody know where Slim Borgudd is now ?
With the money that David is putting into his new team setup.. You bet he is taking it seriously..
Like he did in his Sierra Cosworth days, when they ran with a Turbo boost box.
And David did more head gaskets than ANY other competitor! OOPS!
I'm glad Dave Pinkney will be around next season, I hope he has a good year with the Vectra.
