On the forum of Duval the colour has changed!!! :look:
Look at the new shoes colour and new helmet colour. :s tareup:

http://www.fduval.com/forum2007/

On the website stands that these will be changed when the future of Duval will be presented

http://www.fduval.com/

Will It be F Duval and PG Andersson at Suzuki wrc?

Helstar
12th January 2007, 14:07
Maybe. But better wait for a late (months..) official press from Suzuki themselves :p

We're not so impatient. Aren't we =) ?

Brother John
12th January 2007, 14:22
I found it only suspected after for reading that a new Internet site comes there soon concerns his future!
Yes we have to wait for the official press release from Suzuki :)
But nevertheless it would be nice to see F Duval and PG Andersson together at Suzuki! :D

That would be great for Dudu! Plus the SX4 reminds the Fabia a bit (size, wheelbase, etc), so maybe it will be easier for him to get used to the car? A future champion again?

Intresting. :D Lets hope for the best for both of them

Mostly on tarmac, on gravel he is bit off the pace.

btw, what an ugly website!

N
12th January 2007, 17:25
maybe he made the website by himself, :)

Hopefully he gets a chance, he is a good driver, he has won a WRC rally and has the speed to win some more.

I was ment to help out with that website cept I don;t know where my contact went hahaha

ahh well

http://www.mattjelonek.com is mee and my email is there if your reading this! i have a few ideas for the site if there's a new car!! :D

dudu will suit the sx4 if it's true i like it, like the skoda but will perform, not that the skoda didn't but just something didn;t quite work with it but with the S16 suzuki's think that suzuki will have the right formula just like citroen had with the wrc car! :) ;)

I was hoping Gardemeister to get one of the works Suzuki seat, but he seems to settle with Mitsu for now..... So Duval is the next best choice although I start feeling that Garde jumped too early to grab Mitsu. Mitsu is untrustable now but Suzuki seems to be more reliable, at least commitment-wise.

No offense koko but based on what, BJ's thread and colourscheme of his forum ?

Let's wait for a while shall we.

However, I wouldn't mind at all if Duval got a seat from Suzuki

Bit unfair this statistic now with Superally. Technically, mini-Wilson has collected more retirements this season, than his father did in his entire career :o

1) As everyone knows, graphic designers generally don't make good programmers.

3) Cheap rates, cheap results.
4) I can type proper.

PG Andersson will drive the Swift in JRC this year, however he has excluded FINLAND from his program.
Why would he exclude it if he isn't close to a WRC drive that event?

Yes but that does not mean he will drive a Suzuki WRC in Finland, it could be a rented Focus WRC for example.

Rumours in Belgium today!!

Duval is one the list from Suzuki Motorsport, he is not the only one.
They are all far away from a written proposal!!!
The contract would be for the 3 rallys in 2007 and 2 a 3 year!

Beside, First rally team want Duval also with SKODA, but still working on budged for 8-10 rallys!! First should have a proposel this weekend!!!

F. Duval has beside this also an offer from Marc Vandalen, Duval asked some additional days for discussion!!!
In this context, DUDU in a C4? Because of som reasons and marketing, it´s improbable an he would never become admission from Citroën permitted to compete with the new car!!
Not easy under these circumstances take a decision....

What will it become for Duval???

Suzuki WRC for 2 a 3 year?
First Skoda voor 9 a 10 rally's this year?
Kronos also possible!?

Simmi

I think its worth mentioning that come Finland we dont actually know what colour the Suzuki will be. You would assume they would be looking for big sponsorship so maybe a colour change? Who knows at this stage when we've merely seen the car in a testing livery.

Colin McRae was a fast and spectacullar driver. Duval is fast but not spectacular. Nowadays is dificult to find a spectacular driver as it was some years ago. Maybe Galli...

I don't undesrstand how Duval and Andersson could be a choice for Suzuki. They need one driver with experience to develop the car and i think the bigger experience from Duval is how to crash a car.

Simmi
16th January 2007, 12:02
It would be beneficial to them to enter specific drivers for each event like Toyota did when the Corolla debuted. If they have high hopes for PG then they should run him in the second car, but for Finland they should get a local driver (Garde), and for Corsica despite what anyone says get Duval on a pay when you finish the rally deal lol. GB isnt so specialist so they can take more risks in driver selection.

Well, it looks to me you are judging totally wrong about Duval. He's is one of the fastest drivers and THE fastest available driver. Ás a develop situation it's always good you have drivers @ maximum speed. Look at Citroen develop drivers in the beginning. Bugalski and Puras were extreme fast on tarmac and right away the Xsara was a winning car, same story with the Peugeot team. What's brings a driver like Rovanpera nowadays besides xperience? Duval has got 3 year factory drives with Ford, 1 year with Citroen and 10 drives with a semi-factory car (Skoda), plenty xperience to me.
Andersson is a question indeed, sometimes it's good to have fresh blood in the team and Duval will grow as the leading driver and therefore more responsibility. Maybe the solution for second seat for Suzuki could be a changing name between Andersson and a tarmac boy like Sarrazin or Benque..

A team need at least one experienced driver, so PGA has place if another experienced driver would be there. About Duval i don't have the same opinion as you, for me the guy needs to show more maturity, wich IMO is a thing that he still don't have. Experience is not only speed, is a mix of speed and maturity, and of course knowledge of a WRC car.

Which driver do you think is a better option? Only can think about Gardemeister but he never did fight for a win like Duval a few times.
Maybe 2008 the drivers could be Duval & Gardemeister (and with PGA in a free role in the third car), sounds pretty okay to me :)
