A friend was asking me if I remembered a sports car race where a car from the rear of the field passed a lot of cars (he said about 50 cars) at the drop of the green flag. This car timed the start perfectly, and had two wheels dipped in the white line.
My friend thinks it happened within the past decade, and may have been the start of a Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona race.
