F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone says Melbourne's contract for the race, due to be held at the Albert Park circuit in March, has little chance of being renewed beyond 2010, reports say.
"Maybe we don't want to be in Australia," he said.
"Our costs are very high in Australia and we get a lot less money. It's bloody bad for us.

NSW Premier Morris Iemma has restated he's interested in bringing the Australian Formula One Grand Prix to Sydney from Melbourne if the price is right.

Mr Iemma said if the event was going to move away from Melbourne when the contract expired in 2010, Sydney could be interested.
"Sydney is Australia's only global city, having held the most successful Olympics of all time, the best rugby world cup in living memory," Mr Iemma told reporters.
