Richmond to 300 Laps

Richmond International Raceway's tilt for the IRL will move up in the distance factor.

For 2008, after seven years at the 250 laps, the race will go to 300 laps. The 300-lap distance is the longest in laps for any race in the IRL.

This is good. Now if only we could make more extensions to the oval race distances; longer MIGHT be more monotany in some events, but usually more uncertainty, which is fun.
