With the rise of the Canadian dollar to above the US dollar, CC will earn anywhere from 30-50% more than previous years at their Canadian races. Combined with better promotion, this extra revenue will help keep CC moving forward.
They should add another Canadian race to the Triple Crown!

Good point. With the weak dollar it is good the series had the new car for 07 built in the US rather than abroad as they pointed out at the time.

Sorry I don't see how the weak dollar is good for the series. If Edmonton is profitable, and the promoters pay the sanctioning fee in USD, the weak dollar is good for the them but bad for CCWS. The same goes for Mont-Tremblant. Of course, Champ Car self-promotes Toronto so it's a different case.

Well, it looks like no CC on TSN...

CC will make more money on concession fees etc. Also a $50.00 Canadian ticket a few years ago was worth aprox. $35.00 US. This year they will be at par, thus more money to CC.

TSN does not have the rights to show Champ Car.
