Would anyone else agree that theres a case for limiting the number of words per post? say to 100 or 150. Some contributors clearly enjoy giving their very long winded views on subjects, and its a bit uppity to think that everyone is going to read it through.

When I see a big long-winded post I think to myself :
"now there is someone that is trying to over-compensate for something they are lacking" http://www.motorsportforum.com/forums/images/icons/rolleyes.gif http://www.motorsportforum.com/forums/images/icons/tongue-anim.gif

Many times I have thought that the number of words should be limited but it isn't a popular opinion. http://www.motorsportforum.com/forums/images/icons/s.gif

You just need to keep in mind when making a long post that the number of people who will read it in its entirity is inversely proportional to its length.

I hope you're not referring to my posts there Jim :p

I'd be absolutely finished if we limited it to, well, anything!

Paragraph separation might help a bit to ease reader reading post which is not straightly related to the previous sentence, if you have to write long posts :)
