As i normally buy a season pass for my father since 2001, i have just received a letter (any one else?) from the brscc saying hat due to only having 1 race meeting this year at rockingham they are not doing passes, however you can get a season pass from rockingham for £99 plus booking fee. Thats twice as much as last year without scsa cars.

And what do we get for the £100 apart from the F3/GT meeting? (Pickups are free due to a team pass.)

There's also the Classic Sports Car Club meeting on 7/8 June. If you add up all the advanced ticket prices for the six meetings featured on the http://www.seetickets.com/rockingham web site it gives a total of £113. Not a great saving.
As I bought my BTCC ticket some time ago I shan't be bothering with a season pass. I'll be attending on a meeting by meeting basis, depending on the line-up and the weather.

Looks like they need to update their events page. :)
IMHO their current website is a dogs breakfast! I just can't be bothered to try and find my way around it.
Found this on the website though - "One of the UK’s best kept secrets."
Pretty much sums up their current marketing activity. :dozey:

The http://www.seetickets.com/rockingham site makes no mention of stages rally meetings. However, if you do purchase a season ticket on-line via this site you will incur an additional transaction fee of £4.80, bumping the total cost up to £103.80.

Hi, poster formerly known as Tractorboy - you're not shown as banned on the other threads, just offline - I'm such a saddo I had to check in case it was to do with your Gordon Ramsay impression on the other thread :cheese:
With regard to the subject of this thread the Season Pass certainly looks like the expensive way to not get your V8 fix to me - crumbs, for that price I could get to one of the other circuits the SCSA's are visiting and have a nice meal on the way home! Would need to be a few more cars to make me go too far for them though.
We'll settle for buying the ticket when we can get to go this year - we'll still support the pick ups when we can even if they're not keeping the SCSAs company.

Hi apparantley i am banned though i can find nothing wromg with banning me. Admitadley i don't appreciate the current situation with the pickup getting a few dates at the oval and we don't but never mind, We'll be back and we'll be back strong regardless of wether we are at that oval track or not. i'd like to see the crowd at the oval this year once they have realised we are not there!!!!!! cause i think they wont bother to turn out after the first dissapointment of seeing great 2 pickup race's and **** rest of formlula.
You know Sonny can do that bring your pick up and you can get in free, and all that perlava, and like it said on U tube the pickups thunder!!!!!!! My farts got more Thunder than they have
The futures bright, the futures vsr v8..............

I meant to put Vsr's v6's the Eurocar are there any left out there they look good to drive, and probally be quite cheap to run. and i aint dissing the pickups they are very very good racing, but they'll have 2 good races and the rest of the racing that will be supporting them probally wont be as exciting. I shall go along and see though!

Says who? ;) I'll be lurking around the V8 scene I'm sure. As for the PUT, will likely be sticking with Rockingham.
So you'd better stock up on the Twinnings, me old mate... :cheese:
