I guess it's already third prediction thread we have had during the last couple of months, but let me make a guess again - a couple of months later you may laugh at me.

1 Ferrari (Winners again, but not by a huge margin)
2 BMW (Will surprise everyone by fighting strongly against Ferrari)
3 McLaren (Hamilton occasionally troubles the Top2 teams. Kovalainen will be stronger in the second half of the season)
4 Renault (Slight improvements)
5 Red Bull (Most of the time fighting for last point positions, the season includes about 3 great high point-scoring races too - so, a very inconsistent season for them as usual)
6 Williams (Rosberg consistently fights for the last points, may achieve a podium in a SC-intervened race. Nakajima surprises on several occasions)
7 Honda (Brawn hasn't had much influence yet. Button gets into Q3 on several occasions)
8 STR (not much chance with old car - SC appearances and wet weather races enable them to score some good points though)
9 Force India (some progress with Gascoyne. Will surprise at one wet weather race by scoring a few points)
10 Super Aguri (their hope is chaos)

Ferrari and BMW win the majority of races, McLaren something too.

As we have 3 street circuits, then at least in one of them we will have a very chaotic race with Safety Car sessions and (thanks to the SC-rule) the end result will be very surprising and strange. But what will the surprise be? Alonso wins his only race of the year? After a lot of unluck Webber takes his career's first win? Bourdais or Barrichello on podium? Both Force Indias in the points?

Oh, we will get another judicial process. Ferrari and McLaren accuse Toyota in spying, so they'll be disqualified!

1. Ferrari - The title fight this year will feature only the red cars.
2. McLaren - Will hang with the Reds through the first part of the season but will fall away during the latter stages.
3. BMW - Improvement will come with a genuine chance of victory but the title won't be in their grasp until they change drivers.
4. Renault - Alonso's 6 tenths won't be enough to put Renault back on top.
5. Red Bull - They can't be unreliable forever can they?
6. Williams - Rosberg is good but he's not good enough to overcome a customer engine deal.
7. Toyota - Glock will beat Trulli but the Red & Whites will continue to be average.
8. Honda - Brawn-effect will take some time.
9. STR - Does anybody think a customer team has any real chance of success?
10. Force India - Gascoyne and Sutil are overrated and Fisichella is past his prime.
11. Super Aguri - Same deal as STR but hampered by a lack of money and a Big Brother who probably won't play fair.

Ferrari (i can't see any other team troubling them)
McLaren (getting Ferrari's crumbs)
Renault (fighting tooth and nail with BMW and McLaren for podiums)
BMW (fighting for podium positions)
Honda (improving during the seasson)
Williams (fighting along Honda for the last points positions)
RBR (reliability issues)
STR (not allowed to overtake their bigger brothers)
Toyota (and they leave in 2009)
Force India (may the force be with them)
Super Aguri (probably they will retire during the seasson due to financial problems)

Ferrari - I would be very surprised if they did not win the championship.
McLaren - Always a top team. It would be foolish to rule them out.
BMW - Making very good progress...Might even score a victory.
RBR - If the cars hold together. Webbers a class act.
Renault - Winning team back with a winning driver.
Williams - Hard to predict. Toyota resources help.
Honda - Will improve throughout the year, with Brawn.
STR - RBR has priority, the interest is on how Bourdais will perform.
Toyota - Is Toyota
Super Aguri - Backmarker team, may get point now and then.
Force India - Backmarker team.

Ferrari, McLaren, Renault - top 3. No idea in what order. Renault will have solved their problems from last season and they started their car development very early compared to Ferrari and McLaren+had more time to concentrate exclusively on it.
BMW - I have my doubts about them. I think they lost a lot with the electronics now being standard.
The others - NO IDEA.

Incredible how most of the people are downplaying BMW's chances.

1: Ferrari - everyone may have to face the inevitable again this year. Don't know who to pick for the drivers' title, but I'll have to say Kimi again I think.

2nd: McLaren - close, but no cigar. Lewis pushes the Scuderia pretty close, and Kovy gets first win.

3rd: BMW - very evenly matched with McLaren, Heidfeld wins a couple.

4th: Renault - close to McLaren and BMW. Alonso may win one if he's lucky but will have his hands full with Nelsinho in the other car.

Too close to call between:

Red Bull - will build a stronger car this time. They make it to the podium once or twice.

Honda - much faster. Button occasionally mixes it with Alonso and co, and could make the podium. Rubens has a couple of good runs to 5th or 6th.

Williams - Rosberg gets on the podium for the first time. Outclasses Nakajima but the Japanese will do well enough to remain for '09.

Toyota - Trulli and Glock will perform well, with consistent points finishes when the big boys have trouble.

Toro Rosso - Bourdais shades Vettel during the season, but both men score between 5 and 10 points each.

At the back:

10. Super Aguri - It will be a struggle if they get landed with the 2007 Honda.

11th: Force India - Good drivers, improved car, but too many good cars in the midfield for them to score. Expect a couple of top ten finishes.
