This is an article about TRAVIS Carter not John Carter. I dont believe they are related.

Yep, totally different teams. One (in the NASCAR.COM article) is E&M Racing based in Toccoa Georgia, the other is Travis Carter's which is a different operation all together. Travis Carter was in cahoots with Carl Haas last year.

I always thought that it was Travis Carter who was in partnership with ??????????? a couple of years back, I guess I'm mistaken though.

Having just read the article I can see where I got confused as I assumed the article was about Travis Carter from the above posts.
Anyway, I see nothing that links it to SCSA or anyone who has ever been involved in SCSA, it merely states a driver from Europe. That could be any one of a thousand drivers who doesn't neccesarily have any oval background what so ever.
