I'm looking forward to returning to Laguna Seca, where I scored my first-ever touring car top 5 in our V8 run here earlier in the year.
Maybe this round I won't finish last in CT1! :uhoh:
can't wait to see if we run at spa or even Zandvoort anytime soon..... I really miss those high speed flowy tracks where you get to stretch your legs a bit.
and have time to sip your beer on the straights without having to stress about an upcoming hairpin!

was hoping to get on the track last night, but played guitar hero with my son instead. damn kids and their silly video games!
it was fun though
but a different kind of fun than blasting around the best road course in north america in a corvette!

best road course in NA, no way :p :
there are alot better tracks in NA than Mazda Raceway, as someone said to me, without the corkscrew, this is a boring track

I wouldn't call it boring-the elevation change is nice, but aside from that I agree...

I think she's got more speed in her, but I'm full throttle most the circuit so....
I do like this place. Nice run up the hill, then back down. not having to brake much bodes well for my driving style. surprised I'm so far behind Vuko.
looking forward to seeing what tomorrow brings :D
oh yeah - I can see where traffic will be a bitch here!
p.s dang harv you can make some models! that ferrari is incredible. love the carbon fibre cockpit... but my favorite part are the rims & tires... I was wondering if they ran those 'hubcaps' in China then I flipped the page & there they were! covering up those awesome BBSs!

ran my race
hate the track, the setup was pretty good, I spun it once on the top of the Corkscrew while trying to pass the Mosler, I drove in too hard and spun in the sand, pitted a lap later and tried to salvage to pick up time, but had a tough time doing so with all the slow traffic

The TVR of PiotrB breaks the 1 minute barrier with a remarkable lap of 59.92 seconds. A second in arrears was the TVR of Peter Vuko followed by RobZee and Steven Vuko. The lone vette in the field of J Shell qualified 5th. In C2 the Ultima of harvick once again showed it's exhaust to Tannat.

The qualifying results predicted a dominant performance by PiotrB-and their prediction was affirmed. At the flag PiotrB led Robzee (also in a TVR) by nearly 10 seconds. Rounding out the podium a further 4 seconds adrift was Peter Vuko trailed by son Steven another 10 seconds back. The Corvette C5R of Johnny Shell was cheered home by the American fans to 5th.
In the battle of the Ultimas Tannat lead home Harvick in C2 with nearly 8 seconds in hand....

OHHHH man. me thinks that means Turkey. got a love/hate relationship with that place. It's like the beautiful girl who you want to love you, but they just won't!
I would like to conquer that place. that place cost me a top-5 finish in the DTM cars this season!
wait. Is Turkey Eurasia? I'm from the US. my geography isn't so hot :)
