I am very keen to know tradition in Spain how could a name have its variants.
What has been stated in the birth certificate of Dani Pedrosa among all this name:

Daniel Pedrosa
Dani Pedrosa
Danny Pedrosa
Dany Pedrosa

Each of above have the result on google. Did it happen only by misheard of people on his name?

His name is Daniel but people call him Dani for short.

In English Dani or Danni is how you would spell a female name while Dany or Danny is how you would spell a male name, that's why he appears like that in searches. I guess its different in Spain

For the above last reason people shouldn't call him Dani for short, unless if it refers to his time of doing modeling modeling.

The guy should change his name because there is an internet model that looks like him from certain angles? :confused:

A lot of riders (and a lot of people) have names that can either be male or female. Alex, Chris, Casey, Toni, Nicky...

BTW this should probably be merged with "Hello, Anyone out there?" since its pretty much a pointless thread
