Why is it when gronholm wins a rally none of the papers say anything but when Loeb win's its always loeb 5etc from winning the championship?

Lucky you! Donīt know where you live but in sweden it doesnīt matter at all if itīs Bosse or Loeb that wins; motorsport is very politically incorrect... there is almost total silence, until there is an accident, then rallying hits the headlines :(
Me donīt understand nothing.

My first thought would be...reputation. More casual fans are interested if they're of the assumption that the sportsman they're seeing is truely amazing. I'm sure the media would cover Gronholms victories like Loeb's if Gronholm won the last 3 championships and Loeb hadn't won a championship since 2002.
