The first round of 2004 Champ CarWorld Series did not show spectacular crash. Indeed, this was a smooth race. In the first corner, four pilots crash and retire. Tracy and Dominguez did the show. Tigliani lost a fouth place by a faulty air gun. Television retransmision was in 16:9. This was not an exciting race.

ENGLISH:
Milwaukee Mile sole oval event of this 2004 Champ Car season. Good start for Hunter Reay. He was unbeatable and he took a lap off almost every cars. Wilson spun in the firsts laps. Bourdais get caught in Lavin dirty air and hit the wall. This was the end for Bourdais. Tracy was chasing Carpentier when he gets too hight and hit the wall. Mazzacane did the same thing!

Allmendinger shows god stuff, you will see in the video. Tagliani got his rear left tire flat. Lavin hit the wall in the lasts laps. The race ends on a yellow flag. Ryan Hunter Reay got a solid P1 followed by Carpentier and Jourdain.

Good Champ Car race! At the start, Dominguez pushes out Jourdain. At the restart Dominguez again in trouble. He spun and caught Lavin out. Boudais and Junqueira were to fast and they stay ahead for the race. In the middle of the race, Hunter-Reay shifted down to low and got out. This video shows cool images of Almendinger back from Hunter-Reay and Wilson cars. Bourdais finished first followed by Junqueira and Tracy.

Cleveland racetrack is one of my favourite. At the start, Wilson got caught by Tag. This was Tracy and Wilson ends. Tag was in fire, a couple of lap later he spun out but managed to regain his position. Allmendinger shows he was just a rookie. Hunter-Reay and Jourdain hitted the wall. Good on board shots from Vasser car. Did I mention that Hunter-Reay spun… Lavin and Gonzaled spun at the restart. Jourdain finished his day in the pits. Boudais managed to finish first followed by Junqueira and Tagliani.

I have to admit that this is not my favourite track. Looking back at it, I must admit that this was a good race mostly due to Bourdais, Junqueira and Tracy. Right at the start Junqueira hit Bourdais. Result, Bourdais crawl down to the backpack. But this was what did the show, he’s way back to the top.
