The black panel at the back looks hideous. I do like the look of the car otherwise but can't help thinking if someone saw you in that they would just think "w**ker!"

Oddly enough, I happened to read a paper a few days ago and what did I see: an advertisement: for sale: Audi R8, driven 450km, blabla... Don't remember the price, was just baffled that something like this is being sold on a newspaper.

The black panel I suspect is to hide the fact that it looks very 350zish at the window line. Yet again Audi have proved that if you leave styling of motor cars to the Germans you either end up with something boring, severe or ugly... yet somehow this expresses all three aspects at the same time.

I have never seen it on the streets, but so far I don't like it. The LED lights look cool and the plastic panel means nothing, to me it represents what happens when designers search for inspiration in the dubious world of tunning.

Hmmm.... some interesting comments.

The black panel, if you carefully, its a novelty air scoop that divides opinion on here.

The rear of the car - when viewed from a side view - is my favourite part because it resembles the old Auto Unions from yesteryear.

Although it bears little resemblance to the original R8, at least it has a V8 and as a top of the range Audi isn't without Quattro technology - it has rear wheel bias at the very least!

what is so perfect on this car???it is a wreck....look at the real sport cars...ferrari,aston or lambo...this audi is wreck...
