yeah that sucks, and with very little GM support, I wonder where hes gonna turn, Hendrick maybe

I think I read somewhere that the RCR/DEI engine program are only going to produce engines for the Busch/Nationwide and Cup series. KHI had no choice.

That is good news for KHI in the long run. If his team can make winning engines themselves they will be in a position to sell them to other teams, thereby building a profitable long-term organization. Go from there to the Nationwide Series, then to Cup....you get the point. Certainly a more workable model than what we've seen from MWR this year, where even with a TRD engine his team floundered all season. If Harvick wants to build a serious Busch/CTS organization for the long haul(Cup or not) this is the way to go.

They mentioned during the race that KHI is going to be buying their truck series engines from someone else, though I didn't catch who they were going to be buying them from. It wasn't somebody I recognized.
