What are CT1 And CT2?
306 Cosworth
17th November 2007, 13:02
The two different classes, I believe Tannat has done this because of the performance differences between the cars. The Mosler and Ultima GTR are in CT2 as they're roughly the same performance, where as the TVR 400R and Vette C5R are in CT1 as they're better than the Ultima and Mosler. And the Monaro, well lets not go there ;)

Why is this round sponsored by the fizzy water that the Aussies call Lager? I thought that you were a fine wine drinker tannat?
Is every round going to be sponsored by beer?
Australia - Fosters
Belgium - Stella Artois
Germany - Beck's
UK - Carling
USA - Budweiser

and 50% difficulty traffic??? very clever oh fancy wine drinker
does the tire hardness rule apply to qualifying?

My race was really crazy ! AI is really slow (50% difficulty) so it's really easy to colide with them. Also I leave track once because of AI cars. Tyres were almost red at the end of the race (0.40 compound).

If the inaugural round of the TRD3 International GT Series is a looking glass for the remainder of the season, this will be one HOTLY contested championship! The top 3 in Category 1 were covered by 9/10ths of a second at the checker! The finishers in Category 2 were covered by just over a second!
At the end it was the TVR 400R of RobZee barely nudging the Corvette C5R of Hollydog, followed ever-so-closely by the TVR 400R of PiotrB. PiotrB garnered a noteworthy fastest lap at 1:07.07. A further 12 seconds back was Peter Vuko in another TVR. 5th went to Johnny Shell in a second Corvette C5R.
Category 2 saw another close finish with the Ultima GTR of Harvick beating Tannat at the line by 1.01 seconds (where have we seen this before?).

sweet.... I'm thinking one lap of the earth, in flying cars.
now THAT would be putting video game technology to good use.
although I'm thinking one lap around the poles would offer more diversity than a lap around the equator

Well done BobZee! I found traffic a little difficult......What sort of pts for qualifying is there Tannat......is qualifying worth the same the race???
Essentially, the qualifying results for the complete season will be summed at the end and points will be rewarded as a single race result.
For example: assuming a three race season,
PVuko qualifies 1-2-1
Tannat qualifies 2-1-2
Between the two of us you have the highest average qualifying position. You'll receive 10 point and I'll receive 8.
There may be some problems with this and I'll have to consider restructuring it...
Hope it's not too confusing...
