A lot of you may have already seen this site http://www.freerice.com/

Every time you get the meaning of a word correct someone somewhere(!) donates some rice. I guess it would all add up...

If you don't know a meaning have a guess, if the answer is wrong it will tell you.
Did you know that a camelopard is a giraffe? I didn't, but I do now!

I think the questions are random, I don't know how big their database of words is, but I must admit that has been the most unusual word for me so far!

very true, but actually from the choices only one the correct answer and the three remaining has no correlation at all.

Take it easy, Cat usually hibernates to conserve energy in situation short of food or spends his time sleeping when he is lazy for hunting. :)

I've donated 1 kg of rice and reached vocabulary level 25.

I couldn't get past level 43, on this my first attempt. Will have another go when not quite so knackered :D

I didn't find this question asked on the vocabulary site, how to say 'absolute' in Swedish? Seems it's said as 'absolut' but not sure as it may wrongly typed when I found it on 'absolut vodka' :D
