Pro-Drive is reported to be testing an Aston Martin V-8 Vantage mule...

to evaluate running in the ALMS GT2 class against Corvette's new entry.

Todays article is at www.autoweek.com's (http://www.autoweek.com's) web site.

It goes on to say Prodrive will be at LeMans in 2008 defending it's victory with a pair of Aston Martin's DBR9GT1... but that Prodrive is not sure if they will be running in the ALMS Series.

I read in Autosport this week that Barwell Motorsport are aiming on moving up from Brit GT to the ALMS with the V8 Vantage GT2 car, running on bioethanol. Their Bio engined DBRS9 is probably the fastest car in GT3, in Britain at least. Should be interesting to see how they do in the states.
